Horses are a loyal 4 legged friend. They have help us of 50 million years ago.
there are thousands of horses in the wild that are all in groups called herds. the foals( baby horse ) stay with their mums untill they are old enough to start or join their own herd.
Their are all different types of breeds eg. new forest, caspian, welsh ponies, haflinger, shetland ect. there are mares, stallions, geldings, broodmares, colt, filly, foal, yearlings.
There are all types of events like showjumping, dressage, cross country, showing and things like that. there are also two BIG events called horse of the year show and home pony.
