I played with my fingers under the table as I waited.

The manipule throws a plate in front of me without care, "Eat". I stare at her big brown eyes, because their mine. Then her nose, long and thin, because their mine. Finally her mouth, not too big, mine. I don't need a mirror, because my manipule is my reflection. I don't realize I'm staring until she yells.

"Eat!"

I flinch a little. I know the way she feels, because I use that voice when I'm angry and impatient. I look down at my food. Pasta. The fork I was holding, dropped with a clank beside my plate. I look up at my manipule, her face showing confusement and impatience at the same time.

"I told you to eat"

"You know that I hate pasta"

" I don't care, eat"

"You hate it too. You should care, we eat, love, and hate the same thing"

She was trying to keep her center, I know that she'll crack any minuet now, but I'm not sure I want to get to that point.

By the time I stop thinking and focus on my surroundings, a painful whip lands on my face.

"One more time... you better eat"

I knew it. I look down and crack a smile.
