Boyfriends? Otabek x Yurio

Yuri and Otabek walk along the sidewalk, holding hands. Yuri didn't think much about this action. It was what friends did, right? They were going to get some ice cream from a parlor that just opened up not too long ago. Otabek looks at Yuri and smiles slightly. He hadn't met someone who could make him as happy as Yuri made him. But what was Otabek to Yuri? Otabek wanted to know. That's actually why he is taking Yuri to get some ice cream. They continue to walk to the parlor. "Man, how much longer till we get to the ice cream?" Yuri broke the silence. "Not too much farther. I told you it was a little bit of a walk." Otabek replies to the hungry teen. "Ugh, but I didn't think it was going to be this long." Yuri replies in annoyance. Otabek smiles at Yuri. He's so cute when he's annoyed, Otabek thinks. "What are you smiling at?" Yuri asks. Otabek goes back to his usual expression. "Nothing." He response. Yuri looks at him curiously but lets it go. He goes back to his thoughts. They finally make it to the ice cream parlor. Yuri goes to sit down, while Otabek orders the ice cream. He comes back with two ice cream cones. Yuri takes one and starts to eat it. Otabek watches him, admiring his eyes. How they sparkle. "So Otabek, why did you take me out for ice cream?" Yuri asks, continuing to eat his ice cream. "Well, I wanted to ask you something." Otabek says. Yuri looks at Otabek. "Ask me what?" He asks. "What am I to you?" Otabek asks. Yuri is caught off guard by the question. He saw Otabek as more than a friend but never understood why. "Uh, well I don't really know. I don't see you as just a friend. I see as more than a friend, I don't know how to explain it." Yuri replies. Otabek smiles. "That's how I see you too. Except I have a word to explain it." Otabek replies. "What word?" Yuri looks at Otabek curiously. "A boyfriend." Otabek replies. At that moment it hit Yuri like a ball to the face. That's what he saw Otabek as. He had feelings for this man. Yuri blushes. "Boyfriends?" Yuri says. Otabek nods. "Boyfriends." (Maybe boyfriends can be our always.) The two walk out of the ice cream parlor, hand in hand. "Wanna hang at my place?" Otabek asks. "Sure." Yuri replies leaning into Otabek.
