Be Forever Mine

Chapter 3

"What is wrong?" I asked them.

"Honey we have some bad news," my mom said to me while she gave me a hug. "On the way to the police station Nathan was able to knock out the police officers and escape. He didn't get far before a police officer tackled him."

"That is good they caught him. What is wrong though? He didn't escape but was captured right away," I asked my mom looking confused.

"The problem is while he was being put back into the police car he was yelling your name and saying that he wanted to get you back."

"Oh. Oh-no, that is not good," I said becoming pale and sinking to the ground. "What happens if he gets loose again? He could come after me!"

"That is why we talked to the police and they want to have a police guard with you everywhere you go just in case. They want you to be safe."

"Will the police guard have to be with me for the rest of my life?" I asked her looking scared.

"They said it would cost too much money to have someone there 24 hours a day, so they said they will have someone there until Nathan is put in jail. Once he is put in jail they will take the guard away. It will be up to us to get a personal guard if you feel it is necessary once he is released from jail."

"After the police guard is gone I will use the money from the ring that Nathan gave me to hire a guard. I honestly don't feel safe anymore," I then started to break down and cry. It had been one of the most amazing few days of my life, but now it all came crashing down.

Beau rushed over to catch me before I hit the ground crying. He held me in his arms until I was done crying. Every couple of seconds he would kiss me on the head and squeeze me a little bit more. "Shh it will be okay. I will protect you," Beau said to me in my ear.

"I know and I trust you," I said to him.

"Miss Chelsea and Mr. Beau."

I turned to look who said my name and there in the doorway was our police guard. I got up quick and wiped my eyes, and walked over to meet him. Beau followed right behind me. 

"My name is Johnathon Rivers, and I will be your personal police guard until Nathan is put in jail for his crimes."

"Hi Johnathon my name is Chelsea and this is my fiancé  Beau." We shook hands, and then soon Beau and Johnathon shook hands.

"If you ever need anything or want me to change something please let me know," said Johnathon.

"I will, and thank you so much for being able to protect us," I said to him grateful.

"You're welcome, and I am glad to be of service to you."

I turned to look at my parents, and I told them that I would be ready to go right after I said good bye to Brittany. "Good bye Brittany I will be back tomorrow to see you. I promise," I said to her giving her a kiss on the head and hugging her.

"Okay good bye, and I will see you soon also," she said to me trying to give me a hug through all of her tubes she was hooked up to.

I turned and looked at my parents and Beau, and told them I was ready to go. We walked out the door, and I waved good bye to Brittany. She then waved back. I was so glad to be out of the hospital, but was scared of what was on the other side. I was so afraid for my babies that Nathan would somehow make it back and hurt me and them. However, I did know that Johnathon would at least be there a while to protect me, my babies, and Beau. We got into the car and I buckled up, and was ready to go home.

"Will you drop me and Beau off at our house?" I asked my parents.

"Yes we are, and we will be back in a couple of hours with a few groceries to replace the old ones. Then you and Beau can have some alone time for once," my dad said to me.

"Thank you so much mom and dad! I love you so much!" I said to them.

We pulled up to my house a few minutes later, and I walked to the front door. There were at least three locks on the door. "What are these for?" I asked my parents.

"These are for your protection, and here are all the keys to the locks," they said giving me a ring that had the keys on it.

"Thank you," I said turning the key in the first lock.

Beau and I walked in and I saw that everything was in pristine order. "What happened to everything?" I asked.

"We had some people come in and clean up the place, and put the locks on the doors," my parents told me.

"Thanks again for all that you have done for me," I said pulling them into a hug.

"Are you ready to watch a movie," I asked Beau with a grin on my face.

"Yes, I am so ready," he said giving me a kiss on the cheek pulling me towards the living room. "I love you honey to the moon and back."

"I love you too, too the moon and back."
