"Are you sure you have ABSOLUTELY everything you need Jasmine?"
"Yes mom I do no need to worry I'll be fine!"This always happens every single year. My mom always checking if I'm ready even though I'm in my junior year. All I'm waiting for is the long lecture we always have when we're at the parking lot. Before I knew it we were there. Great. Just the sight of all these students and the school it's self brought out a sudden rush of anger. It angered me seeing all these people being the same old obnoxious teenagers they were a year ago. To my right I see all the normal people in our school who really don't care about social class or where they stand. Those are the type of people I like. That's where I stand. To my left I see the type of people I despise with great passion. The type of make fun out of others for their entertainment. Behold the jocks and the cheerleaders. Without a minute going by, I already see them picking on a innocent victim. A girl, who happened to be wearing the same outfit as the team leader. I didn't want to look any longer , the harsh look she gave the poor girl was enough for me to see.
"So jas now we're here be careful this year, junior is probably the most roughest year from my experience."
"Mom it's okay I think I've got everything down I know how everyone's going to be this year the same people they were last year"
"No sweetie I really don't think you do, girls are meaner and well the boys are a lot more let's say looking for different things more adult like perhaps."
"You mean hornier?"
"Jasmine! You know not to say such disgusting words like that! Look at you!"
"But that's LITERALLY what you said.."My mom hates the idea of boys. I wasn't allowed a boyfriend when everyone was dating. Like I haven't even had my first kiss and I'm 16! My parents are both really strict. Im not allowed to go to parties and I have a strict curfew. It's sooooo embarrassing when all of my friends are allowed to do everything I'm not. The plus side is I'm straight A student in mostly everything (I suck at math) and I've never gotten into trouble. You could say I'm the perfect student..well almost.
As I'm checking my school bag, all of sudden my mum starts waving to a student that was coming straight to our car. I hope my mum isn't embarrassing me because that's the least I need right now.
"Hello Jay! I haven't seen you in ages! Aren't you a handsome young man!
"Oh thankyou Mrs Brown, how are you?"
In my moms eyes he could do no wrong. Ugh. Only if she knew how much a jerk he actually is. But as usual I put on a fake smile JUST for my mom. I forget to mention I've known Jay since we were babies he used to be my best friend growing up. Until everything changed when we entered high school. But as now I despise him but still love and adore his family. He always puts on a act to impress my mum and it really annoys me. Like now...
"Hey Jas, would you like to grab something to eat before class starts?"
Great. Now I have to agree because of my mom.
"Sounds Great!" I answered followed by a really fake smile that seemed to convince my mom.
"Bye Jas love you!"
"Bye Mom Love you too"
Unexpectedly me assuming that jay would part ways as soon as my mum left , he kept to his word. We headed to the shop attached to our school in awkward silence. Until he said ..
"I bet I'm making your day."
"And how is that?" I answered
"Walking with you and buying you food."
"Oh yeah thanks for that."
"I bet your loving it being seen with me and stuff..it will make your cute friends talk." He said ever so arrogantly.
"Oh god..don't tell me your serious."Heyyyy guys! This is my first story EVER on here! Also I'm sorry if I say mum instead of mom. Also sorry again if I'm not sure with American grades and stuff I'm from England! Trying my best haha:) Hope you guys enjoyed!:))))
