Pain. Sting. Burn. This is all I could feel in that moment when he took my human soul. I had made an agreement with a Demon and this is what happens in the end. You die.
The Demon said I was too young for this. But I didn't think so. I needed to know who gave my father his dreadful end. Murder. I needed to know. My father died in a dungeon, being tortured till he could bleed no more.
He died on my birthday.
The police tried to say it was suicide, but I knew better. He never had those scars before. I made a contract, and now it's been done. The Demon killed my father's killer. It was my mother, who married him for money and was working for a competing company. She is dead and so is the owner of that company. And now I'm paying the price. I don't mind. I don't think I could live with all this that has happened.
Then, the pain stopped. Everything went black.

I could see light through my eyelids, but no warmth. I was dead after all. I open my eyes to see the roof of my room where I died. I turned my head to see the Demon who took my soul sitting there. On the flour was my blue glasses that gave me happiness every morning at the ability to see properly. I don't need them anymore.
"Good morning, Sabrina Harris."
I look up into the demon's eyes. They had pupils like a cat's, but no matter how scary they looked, they were full of kindness I had never seen before.
"Good morning... what is your real name, might I ask." My voice was less small than it was before, but I still could recognized it.
"I am Christian. Ironically." His voice was so deep and soothing, only a Demon could have such a voice. It was also British, so that made it better.
I let out a small laugh at his comment. It was pretty ironic. He smiled at my laugh and I could see his perfect teeth. He was a handsome Demon, but what demon isn't? He had sky blue hair with streaks of white in it. His eyes were poison green with pinches of the same blue as his hair. He wore a blue suit with a black tie and a green rose to match his eyes.
"Wait!" I say getting up, and finding that I was on my bed," Aren't I supposed to be dead!?"
"Well, actually when a humans soul is eaten, the universe gives them a new one. A Demon one." Christian explained, before smiling wide.
"Wait! I'm a Demon now?" I stood up easily and walked to the mirror on my wall above my rib high dresser. What I saw barley looked like me. I had black hair instead of my familiar carmel, that was the same length as it was before. My eyes were what changed the most though. They were many shades of purple with little flecks of light blue, green and yellow. They were actually quite beautiful. "Woah..."
"Yeah, what happened to you is rare." Christian was now behind me with a hand on my shoulder. "It's rare for a monster to look so much like their old self and it is also rare to get purple eyes."
"A monster?" I ask, looking up at his reflection.
"Yes, you see, the universe doesn't let you just become a Demon. You have to train for a year and then you will be transformed into one by the universe. Once you're a Demon, you can take any form you like, and change your appearance how you like. But until then, you are a monster. You are sort of an in between phase of living and dead if that makes sense."
"Why didn't you tell me before?"
"Because in order to become a Demon from a living thing, you must be able to go to what ever means necessary to get to your goal. Demons have to make contracts that make them do many dreadful things, but we can do it because of our first ones."
"So, does that mean all demons were once living?"
"Well, no... there are some who were born demon, but they are already demon so they don't need to take the test. In fact, my contract was with on of thoughs demons."
"Cool! So you are my... what exactly?"
He chuckled, " I can be a friend, a father or a brother... whatever you prefer."
"Can you be my brother?" I ask, looking up at the real him.
"I was hoping you would say that!" He says, hugging me.
"I'm a monster now."
"You're a monster now."
