Raindrops swaying down against the hard glass, dripping to their death. Beyond the clear hard glass a shadow appears below roaming outside in the storm without a care. The dark figure disappeared into the misty fog. Awoken by the smell of flames and the sounds of crackles. Boosting herself towards her bedroom door. Her bare feet meeting the stiff cold wood. Creeping quietly as she didn't want to draw attention distributing the brute. Traveling down the hall towards the shadows of fire. At last reaching the entrance, her gentle finger impacted the edges of the door frame pushing it slowly enough where she could peak in the living room. A fire place became her view, a warm feeling came upon her cheeks. Gazing more of the scene a figure of a chair, sitting there is a man, whom she calls beast. Observing the beast's movements, welcoming his liquid inside his mouth. Immediately, sensing a presence the beast switched his head in her direction, acting like a deer seeing headlights as the beast planted an eerie smile. He spoke.
"Did i wake you little mouse?"
he asked in a monotone expression.
She nodded her head in reply.
