Is This Real?

The Next Day

As I get ready this morning I keep in mind that I have to look good, so I wake up thirty minutes earlier than normal and straighten my hair and do my makeup. I use all younique makeup because it is the best and my mom sells it. I wear my new blue stripped polo and ptx necklace. Next I grab a pack of poptarts and head out the door. As soon as I got on the bus I finished my history homework that I forgot to do. As I arrive at school and head to unpack my book bag, I realize Dalton is walking alongside of me. In an attempt to make small talk I start talking to Dalton.

Kaylea: Hey Dalton how are you

Dalton: not to bad

Kaylea:oh well that's good... so um how was your summer?

Dalton: fine I guess. How was your?

Kaylea:not to bad I went to Disneyland and a youtubers convention. Did you do anything fun over the summer break?

Dalton: not really I um mostly hung out with Kassidy and my other friends  this summer.

Kaylea:Oh that sounds like fun.

Dalton: yep it was

Kaylea: so I heard rumors that you and Kassidy were a thing... Is that true?

Dalton: haha I wish but right now we are just really good friends.

Kaylea: Well I better head to German are see ya later!

It was so nice talking to him. He is so sweet and I am glad but also sad that things didn't work out between him and Kassidy. Who knows maybe he and I will be together sometime soon... or at least I hope.
