It is difficult to be a teenager. When you're feeling comfortable and in a great mood, something has to contradict you. It was hard leaving Lockward. It had been my home for years, and now, I'm in Shadow Hills. A small town with one town church, grill, and school, and of course multiple homes. Shadow Hill High is my school's name and it sure isn't fun. I guess I'm an average student, at least I tell myself that. I get straight Bs mostly though, with an occasional A here and there. Honestly, it sucks. But there is one major force that keeps me going at Shadow Hill High, and that is my group of friends. I'm not exactly sure why our name is Butter, but honestly, I'm fine with it. It all started this year with my best friend, Duncan, when we were trying to make friends. It was kind of boring hanging out together when we weren't athletic or anything. But he's still my best friend. Anyways, that's when we first met them. Michelle, the benevolent girl who I must admit is annoyingly too nice. It's kind of weird. But hey, she's a good role model. Maddie, the scary one. You want to get on her good side so I'm glad I'm her friend. One time I called her madsterz, well maybe more than one time, but her reaction was basically a death threat. I guess she's the one who makes us feel a little more intimidating. Alison. She's probably the wild one in the group. I'm not even sure how to describe her. Zoe. She's also really nice. However, not as creepy nice like Michelle. She is Alison's best friend and I can understand why. Nate is the boy who loves video games. You should see his house! He's also the only boy in the group who has a girlfriend and he takes a lot of joy into that. His girlfriend, Bradyn, is also in BUTTER though. So that works out! Bradyn loves basically everything. Taft is the meme lord. He's hillarious I must admit. Meghan and Gabby are cool. They're also new in Shadow Hills so it's nice having them. Lastly, Aaron and Serena. Aaron is the funniest of the group in my opinion and the boy that everyone loves. He's extremely nice I must say. Serena, she's weird. Weird in a good way. Anyways, all together, we are a group of diverse humans. Or so I thought. But that was before I found out the secret. I went to talk to Ethan Pintar, a small kid who can see everything. Very smart and very wise. He told me something I never believed in 100 years. Yes, we may be diverse, but we might not all be humans.
