"Do you really believe in the supernatural Ethan? I mean I know there could be some suspicious evidence but, the whole idea of it just doesn't make any sense." He looked back at me.

"Well" he muttered. "It's definitely hard to believe, but I've done my research. I have my proof."

"Well show me!" I yelled anxiously. He showed me the footage in his computer. A shadow made its way to the room. I recognized it. "Wait is that-"
"Shhhh! Keep watching" he interrupted. I couldn't tell who it was but they looked familiar. The unknown figure ran like the speed of light to a girl in our grade. The blonde girl in my science class. I had never really talked to her. How did the unknown figure run that's fast though. It was magic. I kept watching the footage and that's when something happened. The figure looked right at the blonde girl and said something which I wasn't able to detect. And then a few seconds later the figure leaned in to the girl. The next part was terrifying. The figure bit the girl. She kept biting until blood dripped on the floor. Then the figure ran, once again, faster than the speed of light.

"What is that?" I asked shocked by the video.
"Adrian, I think Vampires are real." He said. "I did my research. I'm telling you. Vampires can move extremely fast. When you saw the figure talking to the girl, it was the vampire compelling her to forget what was happening and to not make a noise. "
"They can do that?" I asked confused.
"Yup. Compulsion. The only way to avoid compulsion is by wearing vervain. A plant." As I was trying to comprehend all of this I remembered the familiar figure.
"Who do you think it was? It has to be someone in our grade." I asked.
"Well. 5"3 girl. Amazingly weird. BUTTER." He responded. And that's when It came to me. I gulped.
"Serena."
