    Aarabella's POV

My mind starts to race as he said the word werewolf, a million things running through my head mainly in fear of the unknown. "Werewolves..." I say in a voice that is barely audible.
Owen looks at me his eyes gentle showing me his honesty. "Am I a werewolf? I know that they are shifters, for some reason I actually know a lot about them.. mates, they are soulmates. The wolfs other half." Realization dawns on me and I look at him, my mind starting to put pieces back together.

"Yes, Aarabella you are a shifter." A voice I realize I've heard before says in my head gently coaxing me to remember. Startled my eyes widen as I try to figure out what's going on. "Why, why can't I remember? I feel like I knew all along.. it's just like something is blocking me from seeing it!!" I say nearly screaming as my heart rate speeds up, and the hair on the back of my neck stands on end.

"I don't know why you can't remember, Quinn my beta is questioning someone who I think knows. The rouge that was found tonight following you." Owen states clearly, yet his voice remains steady trying to calm me down.

"I'm a shifter, I'm your mate. That's why the tingling happened when you touched me... that's why I knew I could trust you.." I say as I bow my head, looking down at my tangled fingers as I try to calm my rapid breathing.

"Yes, you're my mate. My female. My Luna." Owen coaxes my chin up with his fingers setting off fireworks where his skin met mine. I close my eyes enjoying the moment before I look up at him, his piercing eyes meeting mine.

"I want to remember, I want to know why this was taken from me. Mostly, I want the people responsible gone." My voice remains deathly calm as rage starts to build up in my belly making my body quiver with the anger.

"We will fix this Aarabella. I give you my word. Nothing will harm you ever again. That, is my promise to you. Little mate." Owen says firmly, looking into my eyes as I see the anger and then adoration flash behind his eyes.

Owens POV

"Alpha, the rouge is here, you should hurry, he will wake up soon." Quinn mind-links me, his anger seeping into the link.

"We are on our way." I link him back, just as I stand up, grabbing Aarabella's hand as I do.

"We have to go, the rouge is at the pack house and he will wake soon." I say glancing at her, taking in the look of anger and of vengeance in her eyes.

"Lets go." She says before squeezing my hand and pulling me towards the door.

"We?" Quinn links me back after a few moments.

"Yes, we. Myself and your Luna." I say matter-of-factly over the link the happiness not going unnoticed by him, but he says nothing as I quickly cut the link and continue walking with Aarabella, pulling her close to my side as I get the keys to my car out of my pocket.

I unlock the door quickly, strapping her into the seat tightly before shutting the door and running to the other side and climbing in. I grab Aarabella's hand squeezing it once, my Wolf not wanting to be without her touch. Aarabella looks at me and smiles gently with a determined look on her face, the simple action lighting up her entire face as I gaze at her, drinking her in. I put the car in gear and smash the gas pedal to the floor, speeding off towards the pack house.
Twenty minutes later the pack house came into view. The two story house itself was shown lit up in the night by lights the members had on. There is a tall iron fence going around the premises, making sure no one got in or out without going through the gates, the heavy oak doors to the mansion were always closed tightly as well that way we could secure them quickly if we were ever attacked. I looked over at my mate as she took in the pack house, her eyes lighting up and a small smile surfaces as she takes it all in. Slowly I drive the car through the gates nodding to the guards as they bowed their heads to me and my mate, the gravel crunching under the tires is the only audible noise as she continues to marvel at her surroundings.

"You live here?!" Aarabella asks excitedly.

"No, My house was the one before that was back about a mile from the pack-house. This is where all of the lower ranking wolves and the newcomers stay." I say in a light tone.

"Oh, could I see it another time?" She asks looking up at me hopefully. When I nod she grins and squeezes my hand, too soon though she drops the smile, looking away as she unbuckles her seatbelt climbing out after I open the door to her side.

"Let's get rid of that damn rouge." She says determinedly looking back into my eyes as she says the words, which makes me smile a bit.

"Lets go see what he will say, with his life on the line." I say with a grin and a malicious glint in my eyes as I think about the unlucky rouge.
