Chiron had just called a meeting in the  Big House. Percy and Annabeth were watching the waves at the beach when Grover ran up to us all out of breath, saying "Chiron... Meeting... Big House... URGENT!!!!" Then he turned red at the sight of Percy and Annabeth snuggling up and kissing. He cleared his throat. The two shot away from each other faster than Artemis from makeup. Blushing, Percy asked, "G-man, did Chiron say what it was about?" Grover shook his head.
"He just said that you two had to be there, and the wine dude, er, I mean, Mr D said that 'Peter Johnson and Annie bell better not be off frolicking somewhere, or I'll send them to Uncle to frolic as dolphins!' So, yeah, better get there." He finished with a blush. Percy and Annabeth shared a concerned look, and we ran off the the Big House. With Percy lagging a little, he now could only keep up with the dryads in their tree form.
They reached the Big House. The rest of the cabin counsellors were already there, and their faces were grim. Yes, even the Stolls. Grover looked at everyone, then scampered off to eat cheesy ping pong balls. They sat down at the ping pong meeting table, then stared at everyone. Grim faces stared back at us. The couple looked at everyone. They looked back. Finally Percy broke the silence. "Alright, Chiron, what happened? It wasn't me who put the curlers in your tail, it was the Stolls!"
Chiron smile, but it looked more like a grimace. "No, that's not it, but remind me to put the Stolls on dishwashing duty for the month." The Stolls groaned. Annabeth looked around, asking everyone What is it? silently.
No one said a thing. Annabeth saw Rachel passed out on a bed in the corner and groaned. "It's not another great prophecy is it?"
Chiron paled dramatically. "Annabeth, it's not like that..."
Percy frowned. "I've been the victim of 2 great prophecies now, please tell me this one is not about me?"
He looked at everyone. "Yep, that's it, the fates officially hate me. Whoopee! I'm the one in another great prophecy!"
The fates appeared. In a crackly voice, they said in unison, " No, Perseus Jackson, we don't hate you. However, your lifeline is tangled in a great many important things."
A large board appeared. It had knitted items pinned on the board. Everyone gasped. It was the board of fate. It had all the lifelines knitted into items, which were joined by cords of different thickness and colour. The difference was that the string joining soulmates was gold, joining partners were silver and joining people to events were bronze. The board was covered with a huge knitted map that changed daily to reflect events, and prophecies were knitted in gold and silver. There was a sea green sock with a silver trident joined to a dark grey mitten with a silver owl by a golden string. But the worst thing was, the sock was hovering over a silver and gold patch.
Annabeth gasped with tears. "Do you have to be so cruel!!! We have suffered through 2 great prophecies, more than any demigod, and here comes another one!!! WHY!!!!!"
Chiron sighed. "Child, you have to understand! Maybe it does not mean him. You don't even know the prophecy!"
Annabeth rounded on him. "Then TELL ME!!"
Rachel sat up with a gasp. Her eyes glowed green and a snakey presence filled the room. A thick snake of green smoke flowed out of her mouth, forming the shape of a limp Percy in a crying Annabeth's arms. Annabeth gasped. "Approach, seeker and ask"
Annabeth looked at the tragic form of herself and Percy. Percy gripped her hand encouragingly. Annabeth walked right up to the green smoke figure and said, "What is the next great prophecy?"
The smoke-Annabeth looked up. Her tearstained cheeks were painfully obvious.
"7 shall go north and face the snow's ire,
The trapped shall be found, with son of fire
Retrieve the staff of the titan's child
Face the sky and make the punishment mild
At the end, find the item you seek
But lose the most important thing to keep
A sacrifice by sea to hell
Saves wisdom, and Olympus prevails"

The smoke-Annabeth broke down over the body of smoke-Percy, and they crumbled into dust and vanished into Rachel's mouth. She collapsed onto the bed.
Chiron stared at Annabeth. "Child, you must understand the prophecy. Do not be rash!" Annabeth wasn't listening. She had blanked out. She suddenly startled to life, and ran out of the Big House, pulling Percy behind her.
The counsellors stared after her disappearing back. "Um, meeting adjourned." Said Travis.
