There was a long pause, I felt Evan's stare on me as I said that. All I could do at that moment was stare at the TV, I gulped. I now regretted saying what I commented. 

Finally the silence broke. "L-like who?" It was a bit of a stutter when he spoke, my face got redder by the second as I kept thinking of my dreams. 

"Just some chicks I know," I lied. I turned to him, smiling to cover it all up. I could be gay or at least bi. I knew Evan was straight. He would never be with someone like me. We were friends, and it should stay that way.

"Lucy, is she a high school friend or a current friend?"
