taehyung walks around the art's department, trying to find the main office in the school to register in as a new student. as he looks around, someone bumps into him making him jolt before turning around, seeing a silver haired male rubbing his shoulder.
he finally looks up and mumbles an apology and before he can walk away, taehyung stops him.
"hey, um i'm new here so can you tell me where's the office? i need to register"
"ah, it's at the third floor in the other building there" he gestures to the performance and practice department of the school, flashing him a smile before running off before taehyung manges to thank him
taehyung thought his eyes were the most mesmerizing thing he has ever seen.

life in the palace is not easy, jimin concludes as he slumps in his bed.
he just finished studying the history of royalty and has fencing in another half an hour with jungkook. they study in different places of the palace, the queen suggesting that they need to have pay utmost attention to their studies and it's not good to have them together before their wedding.
jimin has never been thankful that he doesn't have to share a room with the crown prince, even when they're married since they're still young as according to his in laws, but his room is only across the black haired male to make it easy.
the latter runs a hand through his hair before getting up and making his way to the fencing room, quickly changing and greeting his instructor, giving a short glance at jungkook.
their session ended smoothly, both males having a short practice of defence against each other and bowing at their teacher as he leaves.
jimin talks off his mask, breathing heavily as sweat trickled down his face, putting his sword back.
"are you ignoring me?" jungkook stops him, grabbing his wrist to spin him around, eyes that are guarded facing him.
"no" the male finally says, removing his hand and walking off, going back to his room and taking a shower to clean himself up. once he changes, he dreads himself from the main building to the the inner part of the palace, feet finding his way back to his study room, minhyuk and kihyun already there waiting for him for his afternoon study.
the two males have worked in the palace for almost their whole life, a strong dedication in them. kihyun and minhyuk were the ones assigned to look after jimin to make sure the soon to be crown prince excels in his studies, and make sure he is safe.
jimin became comfortable around them in a short period of time, he is still very cautious but knows he'll warm up to them.
"if you're done, your schedule for today has ended which means you can proceed to head off, your highness"
"call me jimin, jesus christ" he shakes his head and closes his book before bowing to them and leaving to his room. he groans once he's met with the softness of the mattress, slowly slipping his eyes shut.
jungkook's eyes widen when he sees who's there among all those other students who were pushing and shouting once they get off the vehicle, a smile tugging up his lips as the brown haired did the same, waving.
"when did you get back?" jungkook asks, big eyes imploring as they sat in his room, taehyung walking around the space.
"a few days ago. mother told me we can't stay in the palace since i'm not the crown prince anymore" he shrugs, taking a sit at the ledge.
"so you're getting married?" jungkook groans, mouthing a 'don't remind me of it' as he slouches in the chair, making taehyung throw a teasing laughter his way.
"who is this person anyway?" jungkook wordlessly hands him a newspaper article and the other straightens up and takes a closer look at the picture, realising it's the male he bumped into yesterday in the art's department.
"i met him"
"yeah? oh you're in the arts department too right? maybe you'll be in the same class as him"
"where is he?"
"studying"
"and why aren't you studying?" taehyung mocks, putting the article aside.
"i'm done for today"
"he must be really stressed out about this whole thing isn't it?" the prince gives him a shrug, switching the channel on the tv when taehyung starts talking again.
"you should bring him chocolates and sweets, it might cheer him up since his soon to be husband is taking care of him"
"he's not a girl"
"he isn't always strong either, like you"
"alright fine" taehyung laughs at the eye roll the other gives but stays in jungkook's room for a little more, looking out to the scenery of the palace.
jimin startles when a paper bag was place beside him. he turns, seeing jungkook sitting on the steps to the entrance of the domain jimin studies in, taking in the tired look of his fiancé and the thick books spread out on the wodden table.
"what is this?" the male questions softly, more to himself as he takes a look at the contents. jungkook sees as his eyes lit up a little, a small smile tugging up his lips.
"it's from taehyung" he lies, looking at jimin's sulking demeanor slowly turning bright.
"taehyung? oh, that guy this morning right? i might have bumped into him a few days ago" he chuckles, wondering why taehyung is here and why he sent these candies and why a part of him stung because it wasn't jungkook who gave them.
"he used to live here, if you're wondering, that's why he can enter the palace freely" jimin nods in understanding before opening a bar of chocolate and continues his study as jungkook watches him, a concentrated gaze painted in his features as he bites a little piece of the candy, pen tapping against the table.
jungkook doesn't try to figure why his heart fluttered a little at that.
