Chapter #1

Nam SooHyun's P.o.v

Na eureureong eureureong eureureong dae

I woke up groaning to the sound of Growl- Exo. Why can't you let me sleep in more alarm clock! I got up and went to the bathroom to do my business. After my business I went to look at my calendar. My face was like 😳 when I realized that today was the first day at the new school that I'm transferring to. I glanced at my clock,

" Ohhh no, I'm going to be late!" I hurriedly wore my uniform and shoes, leaving my hair down. I ran down the stairs in a rush when I saw my umma at the kitchen. "Joh-eun achim ( Good morning), umma," I gave her a quick hug and leaned over the counter to get an apple,

" Have some breakfast before you go to school, dear," umma suggested.

" I can't I'm going to be late. I'll just eat this apple on the way. Good bye, umma," I replied to her putting on my shoes and closing the door. I ran until I got to the school gates. I look up at the building. It was huge, bigger than my old school. Suddenly, I got nervous. I walked towards the office and knocked in the door,

" Come on in," the voice said from the inside. You slowly opened the door and closed it when I got inside, " Have a seat right there please," the woman, probably the principal,  gestured the seat in front of her. I sat down in the seat fidgeting with my fingers.

" It's ok, you don't have to be nervous . Welcome to Music and Arts High, I'm your principal, Mrs. Parks," the principal looked like a genuine grandmother who is kind and generous.

" I'm Nam SooHyun the transfer student," I slightly bowed. The principal handed me some papers,

" Here's the schedule and nap of the school," she told me. I took the paper and examine it a little bit. "If there are any problems you can come to my office, you can head off to class now,"

" Gamsamnida, I will surely tell you if there are any problems," with that I headed to my classroom.

After a while of walking and obviously not getting lost at anytime, I checked the schedule to make sure at the correct room, I entered it.
The teacher noticed me and signaled me to come over. I walked over to the teacher shyly.
"Class I forgot to tell you that we have a transfer student today," the teacher told the students.

"Annyeonghasseyo, I am Nam SooHyun imnida. Please take good care of me," I ended with a bow.

"Ok SooHyun-shi, you can go sit next to Kino. Kino please raise your hand," I looked around the room and noticed a boy waving their hand around. He had grayish-purple hair with a smile on his face. I walked over to him and took a seat next to him.

"Annyeong, Kino imnida, hope we can be friends," he seems to be very glad that I'm sitting here.

"Sure, I'd like to be your friend" I answered with a smile on my face. I settled in, pulling out my notebook and pen. I looked forward to see that some or all the girls were looking at me in disgust. Others were chatting with one another.

"I hope today goes by well," I muttered to myself. I ignored it and payed my attention to the teacher upfront.

Ding! Dong!

"Ok class, that will be all for this class period," the teacher dismissed us for lunch. I started packing up my things when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned and saw that Kino was smiling. Is this kid always smiling like this?

"Since we're friends and that you don't know the way to the cafeteria, I will take you there ok?" He considered. I agreed and he suddenly took my bag and started speed walking towards the cafeteria.

" Yah! Kino, I can carry my own bag!" I yelled as I was running towards him. I finally caught up to him and I tried jumping he holds it up higher. If you can tell, Kino is obviously taller than me by maybe 4-5 inches and hell are his arms long. Surprisingly, someone took my bag from him and handed it to me. "Gamsamnida," I tooled the bag and bowed.

"Kino, Who is she?" The guy asked. I looked over at Kino and he looked back, "Her name is Nan SooHyun she transferred to my class today. now that you know her lets go to the cafeteria, I'm hungry," he said rubbing his belly.

When we arrived at the cafeteria we walked to the line and got our food. Holding my tray of food, I scanned the cafeteria for a place to sit. Yuto noticed that I was looking for a place to sit, so he walked towards me, " Do you want to sit with us?" He asked.

"Okay," I responded with a nod. I followed Yuto to a table full of chatting and most important they were all boys! Yuto sat down and I sat down I the middle of him and another person. Everyone at the table turned their attention to me. 

"Everyone, this is the new transfer student. Would you like to introduce yourself?" Yuto told the others. Kino was sitting across from me eating, while looking at me.

I got up from my seat, "Annyeonghasseyo, Nam SooHyun imnida. I hope we can be great friends," I greeted with a bow. Each of them looked at me with interest, which, I found weird. Until a shorter one of the boys spoke up.

"Annyeong, I'm Jinho, the oldest among these kids," Jinho introduced himself. The others gave him playful glares.

"Said the one who is shorter than all of us," muttered the guy beside me. "Ohh by the way my name is Hongseok the smartest of them," he extended his hand for a handshake. I shook his hand.

"Hi, Wooseok here, the handsomest of these hyungs," he announced with a smirk on his face.

"Yo, I'm E'Dawn," he rapped.

"Ni Hao, I am YanAn," I guess YanAn is Chinese cause of his accent.

"I am Hui the head of the school counsel," he proudly introduced himself with a grin on his face.

"I am YeoOne," the guy that sat next to HongSeok introduced.

"Lastly, my name is Shinwon," he said with a smirk. "So, how old are you SooHyun-shi?" he asked.

"I am turning 18 next month in December," I replied with a shy smile. Kino and some of the others started to cheer and the rest are just smiling weirdly. "Did I say something weird or funny?"

"No it's just that the maknae line is happy that they aren't the youngest anymore and that you would have to call us oppa," YeoOne explained pointing to the others at the last part.
