"Ciel Phantomhive. I must say, out of all the contracts I've made, you were my favorite. Not just because of your soul. Although, it was so delicious. The best I've had. Other demons would be jealous."

"It was a pleasure being your butler. The position could be called 'degrading' for my kind, but I didn't mind. For you, I would've done anything. I would have been anything for you. From the moment we made a contract, I knew that I would. Your situation was special. Truly, it even makes me sad to see you like this. The color gone from your face. Your eyes closed permanently, never to see the sunlight again. Maybe I am just a bit regretful of eating your soul. Our contact was strong. And as much as I will deny it in front of anyone else, I had, and maybe still have a close bond with you. I don't completely know what I would call it. If I've ever felt this way before, I can't remember it. Maybe it's love. Or something else. I don't know. It is a mystery that I likely won't solve anytime soon. All the same, I'm sure I'll figure it out one day."

"I wonder now, if you've felt the same way. Our time together was a pretty fair amount of time, but to me, it could have been a couple of days, and I wouldn't know the difference."

"After your parents death, you were almost in depression. In fact, the only thing that kept you alive, was your lust for revenge. That is also what made your soul such a delicacy. As sadistic as it is, I loved watching you go through the pain of loss. The sadness. It was engaging. And it made me lust for your soul. In the beginning, that is all I wanted. I craved it. I could hardly bear the pain of being so close, and not able to attain it. In fact, I was a little afraid I might not be able to control myself. You made it so hard. You put everything you had into getting revenge! It consumed your heart and soul. Of course, like I said, that was in the beginning. Later, I was more able to focus properly, on the parts of you other than your soul. I noticed how intelligent you were. More intelligent than any human I've met. Which is impressive. It impressed me, and that is a feat to be proud of. You are the most sensible out of all of them. I like that. Quite a lot. I also took a liking to your personality. Perhaps, you weren't as bitter as you think. I found that, among all the darkness and pain that you kept outside, as a shield, there was still a child inside. I saw even more so closer to the end, that you couldn't completely hate someone. You wanted revenge, but put in the situation, it was hard. Wasn't it? You looked at someone, and saw good in them. As much as you wanted to avenge the wrongs done to you, you still had an innocence, that made you hesitate. That was yet another factor that made your soul so good. If you asked me what specific aspects of a soul that I liked, I would simply answer it was all the aspects of your soul. Every demon has a particular taste in souls. Its different for each. When one makes a contract, they may get a soul that has half the things they like. It is rare to find a perfect soul. One that has everything that particular demon craves. I found that in yours."

"Even though I hate seeing you this way, gone, I do not regret eating your soul. I have never tasted anything better. And I never will again."

"It is silly of me to look at you now this way. I shouldn't want you to be still sitting in your seat, me serving you a dessert of choice quality. I miss you. I shouldn't, I know, but like I said it was not only your soul that I came to have a fancy for."

"Even though you always had to make sure I would never betray you, and always stay by your side, I would have no matter what. I was always watching you. Always listening, even if I wasn't in sight. I was prepared to lay my life down for you. Not even for the contract. Contract or not, I wouldn't have given up until the person that hurt you so much was dead. I would never have left you. I had a connection with you, that was unbreakable. It hurts me now. Knowing that our time together has ended. I know that someday, I'll meet you in Hell. I am not afraid. And I know you weren't. Honestly though, you didn't deserve that. My own selfish desire makes me glad you are there, so that I will indeed see you again. But I also know in my heart that you should be in Heaven. You had done nothing wrong till you made a contract with me. But I couldn't refuse. I had to make a contract with you. I have no morals. I don't typically care about people. Especially humans. And cursing them to the same fate as me is second nature. With you however, I probably made a mistake. But we can't go back now, can we? Too late for that."

"Well, I thought you deserved some final words from me. It is only fitting. I know I will remember you forever. Until the end of all of us. I will always be by your side. I will always be a part of you, just as you will always be a part of me. These white roses are a symbol of the bond between us. I promise you, I will always be there. Whenever you need me, I will be there. For you are my master. You never stopped being my master, and never will. I give you my solemn word."

He Layed a pure white rose, with a single drop of blood in the center, so that Ciel was holding it.
