"What's up with the sunflowers?"

"I thought it could brighten up the room." Although you already do, is what Liam wanted to add, but he knew Cass wouldn't believe him and truth be told she did lack life.

Cass nodded her head.

Moments of silence passed as Cass picked at her nails and tugged at her sweater, a force of habit she had. Liam on the other hand just stared at her with tears in his eyes. Someone so beautiful and amazing and caring didn't deserve to be in here.

"When will you leave?"

"Well visiting hours are over at-"

"That's not what I meant. When will you leave for good?"

"Never, Cass, never."

A scoff came from her small pastel lips as she shook her head.

"Come on, Cass, believe me."

"No."

Liam's head shook with sadness and frustration. Why didn't this girl, the girl he loves, understand that he will never ever leave? "Don't you remember that night? You have to remember that night."

"Of course I do, but it doesn't mean a thing now."

"It means everything now!" Liam yelled as he threw his hands up in the air.

"Just to you I suppose."
