Monday
With no warning, I made my way through the unlocked doors. If they were locked- which they never were- I would push myself through an unlocked window. I only expected this person to be laying on the couch. But instead it was only his mother who faced the TV.

I didn't say anything before I sat down next to her. She didn't say anything as if she knew this was normal.

"Where's your son?" I asked, when a commercial came on and Maury wasn't chanting anymore.

"I don't know."

"How do you not know where your son is?" I asked.

She looked at me. "Does your mother know where you are?" I opened my mouth to say something but I decided not to because my point was invalid.

"What do I do now?"

"You could continue to watch TV with me." She pointed out.

"Nah. I think-" cheering from the audience as Maury came back on. "I could stay for a few episodes." I sat back down next to her, soon to put my feet up on the table. She looked at me for a second, giving me an angry stare before smacking her hand on my leg.

"Boy I don't know where you think you are but I will whoop you as if you were my own child." I took my feet off, placing my elbows on my knees and quickly saying;

"Sorry ma'am."

Tuesday
I scrolled up, allowing my eyes to peer among the texts reading our last conversations
Derek: dude. Smoking. Come. Here
Me: dude.
Derek: waht
Me: I'm downstairs already.
Derek: LIT COME UP HERE.

I soon received a text back about 30 minutes later to my conversation starter: Hey, where were you yesterday?

"Smoking with Tony"

I felt a little bit bugged out. How can this mans leave me like this? "Why didn't you tell me? I had dope I was willing to- sorta share."

"My bad man. It slipped my mind."

"Yeah. Okay." I typed back.

"Don't be mad." He texted back in less than a second.

"I'm not."

"Bullshit."

"Nah. Go have fun with your hoe best friend."

"Dreeeeeeee." I left him on read. "Dreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee."

Wednesday
"Good little girl. Always picking a fight with me. You say that I'm bad but you're spending the night with me.
Bad little boy. That's what your acting like. I really don't buy that you're that kind of guyyyy. And if you are. Why do you want to hang out with me?"

I lay on my stomach, while Rose lay on my back. I sighed, picking her body up.

I picked up my head and glanced at my phone, groaning and peering at the single message that said "hey."

"He still hasn't texted me back."

"Who?" Rose picked up her head and placed it on my shoulder, peering at my phone.

"My boyfriend."

"Knew it."

"Derek hasn't talked to me at all. I texted him this morning."

"That's weird. You usually talk to him more than me." She rolled off my back so she laid on her stomach next to me.

"I know right!" I turned off my phone and flopped my head down onto the mattress. "This mans only ignore me when he out there smashing some big booty light skin."
