Jon's POV.

I spent the rest of the afternoon with the owl, but when the moon hit the night sky it was time to rest. I gently grabbed the owl and placed it on my couch with warm bed sheets. It looked at me with the puppy eyes and I awed.
"Well, I'm off to bed owl. Get some sleep, night." Those were the last words I told the creature before I changed into to my pajamas and drifted to sleep.

Evan's POV.

After he left I looked around, my eyes still adjusting on the dark. It's freaky being alone here. I felt shivers and the same feeling I felt when I was in the tree. I could of shifted but it's dangerous to do it. I tried it anyways.

(Such a badass.)

As I shifted I felt my bones CRACK, it hurts but I'm not safe being in my owl form anymore. As it ended I was on the floor shaking, and shivering. I got myself up and looked for something to cover me up. All I saw was a hamper wit a red, big sweather and black skinny jeans. Yes, they were dirty but I'm naked! So I putted them up, and looked around more.
I wonder where's the boy?

Jon's POV.

I was still up, thinking about the animal. His eyes looked hurt and betrayed. His wing looked like a bullet hole made it. It had a hole! When I patched it up I was Amy's d the owl survived that.

CREAAACK!

There's no one in my house except for me and the owl.

I stood up from my bed and took my old baseball bat. In went down the hall and another sound can!e from the kitchen this time. I sneaked to the kitchen and peaked from the wall. There was a boy sitting on the counter... waiting? I quickly went to the couch and the animal wasn't there. I was about to turn but I BUMBED into something. I looked up and it was the boy.
"You came back." He said with a smile, "I missed you."
