I was just finishing putting on my pajamas and getting my lacrosse stuff ready for tomorrow when I heard a very loud creaking noise coming from the outside. I went into my moms room and got her wooden bat and walked outside quietly in case there was and intruder then something made a creaking noise making me get my bat ready, I was about to take a swing until Stiles fell down from the roof startling me.
"Stiles, what the hell are you doing!" I yelled exasperated to my best friend because he literally just fell off of my roof while hanging around casually.
"You weren't answering you're phone!" He said putting his hands up in mock surrender.
It took him a few moments until he realized I had a baseball bat in my hand and immediately questioned me on it. "Okay umm, why do you have a bat?" He questioned me weirdly.
"I thought you were a predator!" I yelled in all seriousness "A pre-?" He asks me giving me a weirded out face. "Okay whatever, but I know it's late, but you gotta hear this. I saw my dad leave 20 minutes ago, dispatched called they're bringing every officer from beacon department and even state police." He yelled very excitedly.
"Why what happened?" I asked very concerned because no one should be getting hurt. "Two joggers were in the woods and found a body!" He yelled in all happiness and I looked at him as if he was crazy.
"Wait you mean like a dead body?" I questioned "No dumbass, a body of water.. yes a dead body!" He yelled sarcastically at me.
"If they found a body, what are they looking for?" I questioned confusedly because what more was there about a body already found. "That's the best part, they only found half!" Stiles said excited.

"Are we seriously doing this?" I asked Stiles annoyed because I should be sleeping getting ready for lacrosse tomorrow and trying to make first line. "Come on you're the one that's always bitchin' about that nothing ever happens in this town!" He yells.
Which part of the body are we looking for?" I questioned. "Huh... I didn't even think about that." He said smiling sheepishly, while I looked worried.
"Okay so what if the killer is still out there?" I questioned worriedly cause I'm to young to die. "Also something I didn't think about." He also admitted.
We finally got there and started climbing up the hill, as we reached the top I started to breathe heavily and so I took out my inhaler. "Shouldn't the sever asthmatic be holding the flashlight?" I questioned out of breath.
"I should be getting sleep for try outs tomorrow!" I yelled to Stiles be cause I would actually like to not sit on the bench.
