Chapter 10

Third Person POV

After Alex introduced her mate to her dad, her father explained how the change would go. "You would both bite each other at the same time, drink each other's blood, and complete the mating process. This all has to be done on the demon moon. Lucky for you, the next demon moon is on Friday. I will take you to the place in which this must be done and I'll leave you too it." Her father said as Alex and Justin nodded. Alex and Justin left the room. "I'll take you back to the mortal world and we can chill at my place." Alex said and took Justin to the portals. "Woah." Justin said, his eyes amazed at the colors swirling in the portal. Alex smirked and walked up to Logan. "Hey best friend." Alex said with a smile as she hugged her old friend. "What's up dork." Logan said with a smirk. "Who's the guy." He said gesturing to Justin who stood behind Alex. Justin wrapped his arm around Alex's waist and pulled her to him. "I'm her mate." He said glaring at Logan. "Ah, okay. Well I'm her best friend, and don't worry I have a mate and I'm gay, so she is all yours dude. But I'll slit your throat if you hurt her." Logan said with a smile. Justin's face reddened with embarrassment and Alex chuckled at him. "Well can you take us to the mortal world? Specifically my house." Alex asked pouting her lip and widening her eyes, knowing that Logan can't say no to her face. "Fine girl, come on ya dork. And bring your mate to." Logan said and walked them through the portal.

9 years later

Laura's POV

"AJ come on, let's go." I said as I walked towards the front door. I was taking AJ to the mall since he wanted to go and I needed some more clothes . My son ran down  the stairs wearing black jeans, a red shirt, and his black vans. "Let's go mom, Jake is waiting on me." AJ said pushing me out the front door and towards the car. "Well I was waiting on you kid." I said got in the car. AJ is 17 now, he's grown up to be a good kid. Cause he knows his mom is scary when she's mad. He's knows about his dad and what happened and he's looked past it and forgave him like I did. We got to the mall and AJ ran out the car and into the mall with his friend who was waiting out front. I laughed and walked into the mall at towards the food court where I know my sis would be. Like her older sister, she loves food. I saw her black and blue hair sitting at a table with her mate. I walked over and sat next to her. "Wassup little sis." I said and hugged her before stealing a few of her fries. "Don't touch a pregnant woman's food." Alex said and glared at me. "Don't leave your food to be stolen." I said and shrugged. "And you aren't pregnant, you gave birth 8 years ago." I said and rolled my eyes. "I need to feed my food baby." She whined. I rolled my eyes again. "Girl shush. How's Logan by the way?" I asked stealing more of her fries. "He's good, him and his mate are permanently attached at the hip ever since they mated." She said and rolled her eyes. I laughed. "If I remember correctly, you and Justin were the same way. I mean you both were in your room for hours and hours and h-"
"I GET IT WOMAN" Alex said as her face reddened. I laughed at her and Justin joined me. "You can't laugh at me, I'm your wife. You're supposed to take my side." Alex whined and Justin laughed. "I love you babe." He said and wrapped his arms around her. "I love you too." She mumbled and a smile slowly made its way to her face. "OKAY LOVEBIRDS NO LOVEY DOVEY STUFF WHILE I'M HEAR!" I yelled in their ears. They covered their ears and glared at me. They started mumbling curses about how they hate me but I just waved my hand and dismissed them. "Let's go kids, we are gonna buy AJ a birthday present. He turns 18 and finds his mate on Wednesday. So hurry up." I said and pulled them into different stores. After a few hours, I found what I was looking for and I went home. AJ was with his friend and so I didn't have to worry about him.

Three days later

AJ'S POV

"Happy birthday son." I heard my mom say as she repeatedly poked me. "Uuugh mom stop poking me I'm up. But thanks mom." I said as I got up. I sat up and hugged my mom. I mumbled a thanks and pulled away. She handed me a black bag with the words 'HAPPY BIRTYDAY' written on them. I smiled and opened the bag. I pulled out a black leather jacket, a pair of black Nikes, and at the bottom was Dark Souls 3. I smiled and hugged my mom tightly saying thank you over and over again. "Son......can't......breathe." My mom said and I let go. "Sorry mom." I said and chuckled. She smiled and told me to get dressed before leaving my room. I stripped out of my clothes and hopped in the shower. When I was done I got dressed in my black jeans and a black shirt. I put on the leather jacket and nikes before grabbing my phone and book bag. I walked downstairs and kissed my mom goodbye and walked outside.

"DAD? What are you doing here." I said confused. "Hey son, happy birthday." He said and gave me a box. "Hey AJ you for-....Derrick. Why are you here?" My mom asked as she glared at Dad.

Laura's POV

"Why are you here?" I asked as I glared at him. "I couldn't miss my son's 18th birthday. He meets his mate today." Derrick said as he looked at me with sadness. "He isn't your son. He is mine. You can go back to the tramp you cheated on me with." I said as I started to shake from anger. "Baby I-" He started to say but I cut him off. "DON'T CALL ME BABY YOU SELFISH, INCONSIDERATE, CHEATING BASTARD!" I screamed and lunged at him. Tears streamed down my face as pictures of him with that girl flashed in my mind. I punched him in his face and chest repeatedly. I felt his nose and jaw crack as I hit him. I felt arms around me and Derrick's body got farther away from me. I was set down and I turned to see AJ looking at me scared. "Mom you could have killed him." He said seriously. "I'm sorry AJ, I just got angry. That was immature of me." I said and turned to Derrick. I lent my hand out and helped him up. "That's was immature of me and wrong. I'm sorry Derrick." I said. "It's fine, I deserved it. I shouldn't have done that to you and I'm sorry." He said as he looked me in the eyes. I smiled. "I forgive you. Now get off my property Derrick." I said and the smile that was once on my face was replaced with a glare. My son had gone to school and it was just Derrick and I. He looked at the floor and sighed before walking away. I turned and walked in the house. I walked into the living room and sat on the couch. Soon I drifted off to a dream less slumber.

Alex's POV

I sat on the couch with Justin. His phone buzzed and he looked at the text. "I gotta go." He said and jumped off the couch before running to the door. He dropped his phone on the couch and I picked it up. I buzzed in his hand and I unlocked it.

BABY👅💦-BABY MEET ME AT THE PLACE. I HAVE ON THAT SILK ROBE YOU GOT ME......JUST THE ROBE.

I looked through the texts sent between them. And Justin walked in the room. "Hey babe I left m-" He stopped as he saw me looking through his phone. "She said she has on the silk robe you got her. Only the silk robe." I said as I looked through his phone. "Babe it's n-"
"Not what it looks like"
"Babe I-"
"Sorry"
"It w-"
"Was an accident. Get out. Don't bother to get your stuff because it won't be here tomorrow. Go to your tramp. She's waiting for you."
"Ba-"
"GET OUT NOW BEFORE I BURN YOU ALIVE YOU WORTHLESS WASTE OF TIME!" I screamed at him and stood up. I felt myself change into my demon. "GO!" I yelled at him and threw his phone at him.
