C H A P T E R 1

"Welcome" Ms. Min Jee says while throwing her hands up to show her house.

I stared at it with awe. I've never seen a house this big. I nervously took small steps allowing everything to sink in.

"Feel free to look around the house or the garden" Ms. Min Jee says "and call me Mom... if you want to, you'll eventually marry my son anyways" She smiled.

I smiled back in return. I still don't feel comfortable about the fact that I'll be marrying her son.

I decided to explore their maze looking garden. I went inside and though it was little creepy, I felt peace. It was quiet, the outside world was blocked.

I sighed as memories from today rush through my head once again. I bit my lips to stop myself from crying.

I didn't know my mom had been getting a loan from Ms. Min Jee, If only I knew... my mother tried to take care of things by herself again. I shook my head to get rid of the tears that formed around my eyes. I took a deep breath and walked once again.

I came to a halt when I suddenly saw 2 people and they were-OH MY- kissing. That must be Jinyoung. I quickly turn around to go back when I tripped on my own leg

I groaned in pain as I held my knee close. I noticed it was bleeding and that my jeans were ripped. I blew it to ease the pain.

"Who are you?!" a man said which I'm guessing is Park Jinyoung.

I gulped and slowly turned around. I was faced with a girl who's looking very pissed and Jinyoung's eyes silently judging waiting for me to explain.

"I-I'm" Whats my name again? I can't speak?! Was it because I tripped and fell?! What's my name??

"Why are you crying" Jinyoung asks looking somewhat worried but still staring at me with those judging eyes. So many questions!

I was crying? I brought my hand to my face to feel it. I was crying. This is embarrassing, I never know when I cry. I stood up and ran away only able to mutter a "sorry"

I quickly went inside to hide somewhere but was stopped by Ms. Min Minjee.

"So I see you went to the gar- What happened to you?!" She asks as she looks at my wounded knee

I nervously chuckled "I tripped" I also saw your son which by the way was kind of the reason on why I tripped who also happened to be kissing a girl but, I'll keep this to myself.

"Why are you inside? Oh... you're our new maid" I turned to hear a familiar voice. He was with the girl he was kissing.

"No Jinyoung. She's the one you'll be marrying" Ms. Min Jee confidently says.

I saw how Jinyoungs faced turned into a scowl. He then looked at me furious.

I adore you Ms. Min Jee, I do but sometimes I just wish you weren't so confident this time.

I couldn't say a word, scared of what Jinyoung would say. He whispers to the girl he's with, I'm guessing to tell her to leave because she walked out looking annoyed at both me and Ms. Min Jee.

"How rude" I hear Ms. Min Jee say. She was pretty rude for a person who was kissing her son. "Jinyoung come here let's talk" Ms. Min Jee says as she uses her fingers to call over Jinyoung.

I was left alone as they went inside a room to talk. I sighed in relief. I didn't even know I was holding my breath.

I couldn't help but think about the girl. It must be nice to be with the person you love even though his mother is against it.

I immediately thought of my boyfriend. "Youngjae..." I whispered. It just came out of my mouth, I didn't even get to tell him about the situation. I always came to him whenever life was getting hard, he understood me. After all we were living the same life.

I jumped when I heard a loud slam. Jinyoung was walking furiously towards me with his deathly piercing eyes but to my relief he walked pass.

"He's so stubborn and all I did was explain the situation" Ms. Min Jee sighs as she brings her hand to her forehead. She turned to me and gave me a light smile. "I should show you your room" she sighs

I followed her to the room. Once she opened the door my jaw immediately dropped. It was huge, my eyes wandered around to examine the room.

"It's beautiful" I smiled as I touched the walls. I've never had such a room ever since my family lost all their money.

"Make yourself feel at home" Ms. Min Jee pats my shoulder as she turns to leave the room but walks back inside "you told me you have a... boyfriend?"

I looked down, I miss him.

"Feel free to call him and meet up with him, I know that adjusting isn't gonna be easy and I'm not telling you to love my son now but I hope you learn to love him. He's a good kid" she smiles as she describes her son, with that she left.

I decided to call Youngjae on the telephone but no one picked up. I tried again and this time I know for sure that someone picked up but when I said hello no one answered.

I decided to give up for today I know for sure that I don't need anymore stress.

I dont know Jinyoungs moms name Im sorry Im such a bad igot7 :( if you happen to know though I'll gladly appreciate.

If you guys are confused about the whole thing then I sincerely apologize but lemme clear it up for you so the setting is a mix of our present day and the very old days... ya feel? No they're not living underwater... ;) sorry. I'm still planning on changing the title but for now I'm quite happy with it anyways, they're both inlove with different people, Soon Hee obviously inlove with Youngjae and Jinyoung inlove with someone who shall not be name bc it'll ruin everything -not really- but yeah. This will also be mainly in Soon Hee's POV unless stated otherwise
