So along with my other projects, I've decided to take up a Magi oneshot series since there could never be enough of them on the internet. So since Sinbad is my main husbando, he gets to go first. Leave your own request in the comments and what types of stories you'd like to see. This first one shot was inspired by K.Cosmo from Quotev and her series 101 Arabian Tales, please read it, it's great and hilarious and much better written than this. Note for this one, since I do not know if there are dragon tribes in the Magi universe (I only have the anime and the early manga under my belt), I'll be getting my own inspiration from the Warrior Cats book for the dragon society...please don't hate me, I love that series. With that out of the way, let's get started.
I own nothing.
Dominance
Being the wife of the king of Sindria was not always a breeze: to you, your beloved mate could be an idiotic, drunken, womanizer...at his worse. At his best, he was a kind, passionate, and powerful man, and an unstoppable animal in bed. Being a creature that thrives upon passion and fire, you were drawn to him from the moment you met him in that first dungeon. It had been only moons after you had received the warrior name of (W/N), after fiercely defending your tribe's nursery from human invaders hoping to craft magical items from the younging's bones, that an omen had been set by the tribe Shaman. He stated that dungeon in the east would soon be conquered, but if the true treasure fell into the wrong hands, it would mean genocide for your people. Needless to say, your leader Blightstar, aka your mother the spiteful cow she was, sent you into the hole of death to defend the treasure until someone you deemed worthy came along since you were the most disposable. You loved your mother dearly and she did care for you, but as you continuously watched soldiers be slaughtered by the false dragons of the dungeon (honestly, you couldn't understand your mother's thought process. These dragons were doing a fine job of weeding out the weaklings), the idea of sleeping poison ivy into her wine and ale seemed more pleasant as the months dragged on.
Then he came.
You could never explain what drew you to him. He was quite handsome, no doubt, but contrary to most beliefs, dragon's are actually very picky in treasures they horde. Sinbad just oozed this aura that could make even the most lonely of warriors follow him. So you did just that and eventually helped him gain the power of Ba'al. After that, you just never felt like leaving him again. Of course you returned home to the volcano and explained yourself to your leader, wanting to kill her for that amused face she wore throughout your explanation, but other then that, she was quite understanding. And so, you set out of your adventures with Sinbad, gaining and loosing allies, through the happiness and heartbreak, you stuck together. Over time, you both realized what you truly meant to each other and needless to say, once Sindria was established, he almost immediately asked for you to remain at his side as his queen. You chuckled at the memory, remembering how you teased him by playing hard to get and that gods damned smirk which would send any woman into a fit of arousal he wore as he "convinced" you to be his wife through a night of unimaginable pleasure.
But now was not the time for a trip down memory lane. No, it was time to meet your loving mate at the docks. Yam had refused to explain the details, but from what you could tell, this was going to be very irritating for you. Recently, you had been away on business at your home since your mother had decided to name you leader of the tribe of the Star Volcano as she had been name Chieftain of the Dragon kingdoms (much to your horror). Luckily, your tribe was only a meager half an hour's flight from Sindria, leaving no problems for you to lead. However, so much had to be done that you hadn't been home in awhile, not even being able to greet your husband after he had returned from Balbadd. Honestly, you would much rather return to the palace and cuddle with your mate (and perhaps doing unspeakable things) than deal with whatever mess he had landed himself in this time. Seeing the docks of Sindria in the distance, you reverted to a half human, half dragon state, with only your wings being an indication of your reptilian identity. Your (h/c) hair flowed freely in the wind as your (e/c) eyes narrowed at the dock. Kou ships were the first thing you identified and the first warning signal to flare in your mind
"Gods Sinbad, what have you done this time?" You thought to yourself. You landed in the shadow of the ship, reverting back into your human form, and listened from the shadows. You attention befell an obvious vassal and red hair woman wielding a blue sword. You could tell straight away she was a princess of Kou since her clothiers were that of nobility, the Kou signature red hair, and the sword was obviously a metal vessel. The vassal spoke.
"It is obvious you cannot present one shred of valid evidence to attest to your innocence King Sinbad! You have defiled the body of a Kou princess and as such, you must agree to wed her in order to preserve both your honors!"
You felt your blood boil at his words. Sinbad' womanizing habits were nothing new to you and mostly did not phase you as it was clear you were his only true love. Still, you were a dragon, and dragons become quite...violent when something of theirs is taken or has fun without them. Of how Sinbad would wish he had fled with that Kou princess, not that it would spare him from your flames. Ja'far cleared his throat.
"About that...it would be rather difficult for Sinbad to wed the princess," the red head shot up, baring her sword against him.
"WHY SO?!"
"His highness is....already married," a wave of silence swept through the docks before a profound "WHAT?!?" rang out. Yes, your marriage was a secret as you were still a citizen of your tribe and knowledge of your marriage could leave both Sindria and the Tribe of the Star Volcano at risk from the other's respective enemies. A boy with golden hair and eyes walked up to the king.
"Sinbad! You're married!?" The purple haired male rubbed his neck nervously.
"Yes, I am actually, and I feel I will not survive this day no matter what the outcome," the vassal, who clearly did not believe of you union by the look on his face, stepped in a challenging way.
"You claim to already have a wife! But I see no wife here!"
"Perhaps because she is behind you,"
They all turned to face you and the unamused look gracing your face. Sinbad didn't seem to notice as he wore that goofy smile upon his face and ran up to hug you.
"(Y/N)!"
You growled menacingly at him, your fangs becoming very prominent, forcing him into a cowardly retreat and causing everyone present to flinch in fear. You wasted no time grabbing your mate by the collar and pulling him down to eye level since he was much taller than you. He began sweating profusely.
"Love, I can explain," your eyes by this point were stone orbs of malice and anger.
"Oh, you better if you still wish for us to have children!" He gulped loudly as the princess stood up, pointing her sword at you.
"Who is she?!" Ja'far quickly ran next to you and Sinbad.
"This is Queen (Y/N) of Sindria or among the dragons, she is (W/N)star, leader of the Tribe of the Star Volcano. She is the wife and mate of King Sinbad,"
"Thank you for that introduction Ja'far. Now I request to know why I return home to this," The vassal spoke once more for the weeping princess.
"You are a fine actress ma'am, but you fool no one! His majesty cannot run away from his responsibilities after desecrating our princess's innocent," You suddenly strutted up to the man, anger flooding in your eyes.
"I see, so responsible for this for this mess," everyone gasped and the generals along with your husband glared at him.
"HOW DARE YOU! YOU, YOU,"
"Dragon,"
"Huh?"
"I am a dragon, as Ja'far mentioned, and we dragons are quite adept at realizing when we are being lied to," he gulped, solidifying your belief that this was the culprit. Your claws came out as you gripped his collar.
"I have been away from my home for 2 weeks in order to take leadership of my tribe. I have been unable to even speak with my husband! I was force to disband a meeting to sort this mess! I haven't slept in 3 nights! I have a headache! And I return home to fine you trying to trick my husband into marrying another woman. Choose your next words. Very. Carefully if you wish to live to see the morrow," You felt two strong arms encircle your waist as you were pulled into a strong chest.
"(Y/N), please, there's no need for murder,"
"Hold your tongue Sinbad. I am in no mood for this,"
Timeskip
The little vassal had managed to weasel his out of your claws and back to the Kou Empire, leaving you in an even fouler mood. The residents of the palace avoided you like the plague for fear of being burned by your flames.
All but your husband.
Sinbad, in the way only he could, strolled up to you with a grin pasted on his face.
"(Y/N), you should've told me you were under so much stress!" You growled.
"It's not like you could've helped," you stiffen, feeling the familiar sensation of teeth on your neck.
"Really now, because think I can recall at least one activity which always seems to relax you," you pulled away, to prideful to give into his lustful needs as well as your own.
"Perverted man! It's these very actions which made it so easy for that rat to frame you!" He chuckled, capturing you once more in his embrace.
"Lying does not suit a dragon (Y/N). You enjoy my advances all the same,"
"Oh please, you just pretend to be the dominant one of this relationship!" His expression became amuse.
"Oh? So I must prove it to you once again," giving you no time, he threw you over his shoulder and raced for your bed chambers, beginning a night of pleasure and power struggling.
Yes he was a perverted and womanizing idiot, but secretly, that is what you loved about him.
