NEOZ HIGH CUT INTERVIEW

Everyone of you have been living the trainee life for a while. Please tell us your hardest times, and what helped you go through those.

Dawon: Probably when your teammates start leaving... Because I can keep it up, and to cover for their parts, as well as for the remaining members.

Seungseok: It was the hardest when we argued with each other. Whenever that happened, we would turn off the lights and speak out our thoughts and feelings.

Jaeyoon: It really hurt when I got scolded every day. For not doing well. I always thought of my family when it happened. I ended up trying harder while holding the pain.

Juho: It was hard when the team members and the teams changed. It's probably because there were a lot of us. I endured this by pouring out my feelings while writing lyrics.

Taeyang: The hardest part was when the future was unclear. Because I didn't know what was going to happen, while I was practicing, I often got mentally unstable. Still, I think I was able to endure this for the dream of a singer and the support of many others.

Hwan: The first week was really hard for me. Because I came from Busan. I had no one to talk to, and I was always alone in my room. My parents took a lot of care for me.

You need a role model you want to become just like to endure hardships. Who are your role models?

Rowoon: Crush, actor Kim Soohyun and Joo Won, and EXO's D.O. Crush sunbae's songs are really nice and makes really clear music. Kim Soohyun and Joo Won sunbaes can act, sing, and be entertainers. Lastly, like D.O sunbae, I want a detailed voice and color, and want to become a powerful vocalist.

Seungseok: The Japanese band, Mr. Children. They're all old men, but they somehow seem unapproachable, and their music style is really my type.

Youngbin: My role model is Tablo sunbaenim. His lyrics are always sincere and persuasive. I want to adapt his style of personally writing lyrics and rapping. In my opinion, he's the coolest rapper.

Juho: Kendrick Lamar and G-Dragon. Both of their own colors are clear and unbeatable.

Chanhee: Singer wise, Taemin sunbaenim. Actor wise, Jo Jin Woong. He's normally a gentleman and had an aura. There was an acting scene I shared with him, and I learned a lot from him then. I was very impressed with his acting.

Chulmin: My role models keep on changing. Rain sunbaenim, who doesn't give up and is the icon of positivity, and music wise. Yonghwa and Hongki sunbaenims.

Taeyang: My role model is EXO's Kai sunbaenim. There are no holes when he dances, and I think he shines on stage.

Hwiyoung: A$AP Rocky and my father. Because both of them are cool.

How do you imagine yourself in five years?

Dawon: I'll probably be able to eat whatever I want to however as much as I want.

Seungseok: I will be performing at a very large area with a very large audience.

Jaeyoon: We'll probably be successful and be holding a world tour.

Chanhee: I want to be a talented and cool person, and I also want to be an adult. Not just an adult that passed the age of 19, but an adult that has fully matured.

Chulmin: I'll probably be on various types of TV shows, as well as music shows.

Hwan: My biggest dream is for us to be on tour in Japan and China for sure, from Asia to America and Europe, while showing people our music.

Hwiyoung: Five years later, I would be musically talented, universal person.
