Suprise, Suprise

5 MONTHS LATER....

Lauren

My heart pounded. My palms were sweating bullets. I was the 4th one in line. I looked around in the crowd and I spotted Abby, Ms. Evelyn, Pepper, Darwin and Tae dumbass  . I was about to panic until finally I spotted Ace. I did a sigh of relief when I saw my boo.

I was now next in line. This was the moment I've been waiting for my entire life.

"Lauren London." The man said and I walked across that stage with a big smile on my face.

"Yessss bitch!" Pepper said and clapped.

I proudly grabbed my diploma out his hands and walked off the stage.

"I did it mama." I said to the sky as a tear fell.

This day would have made my mother so proud. I finally graduated.

The ceremony finally ended and we could meet up with our families and take pictures.

"Lauren!" Abby said running to me. She gave me a big hug.

Then I saw the rest of them heading towards me.

"Bitch you looked good on that stage." Pepper said and gave me a hug.

I laughed. "Thanks."

Pepper and I became great friends over the months. Almost like best friends.

"Yea sis. You did it." Darwin gave me a hug.

"About time yo' slow ass graduated." Tae said.

"Shut up." I laughed and gave him a hug.

"Hunny your mamma would have been as proud as I am." Ms. E said and kissed my forehead.

"Thank you."

Someone covered my eyes.

"Ace I know it's you."

"Dang. How you knew?"

"Because your hands smell like ass." I giggled.

"You stay with the jokes man."

I turned around and he had a bouquet of red rose.

"Awww. Thank you Ace!" I wrapped my arms around his neck while hugging him.

"I'm very proud of you baby girl." He whispered into my ear and kissed my cheek.

"Okay, okay. I'm hungry as hell. Can we go to a restaurant or something?" Tae asked.

"It's Lauren's day. Where you wanna go?"

"The Cheesecake Factory."

We were all sitting at a booth at The Cheesecake Factory.

It's not really all about cheese cake. They have a lot of other things on the menu.

"What are you going to order?" I asked Ace.

"I don't know. I think cheese cake because that's all I see on here."

I laughed. "They have pasta, Grilled shrimp, chicken, crawfish-"

"Hey Lauren." Someone interrupted me. I looked up and saw Flex.

"Flex? Heyyy. I haven't seen you in some months."
