Chandler held the ultrasound photo in his hand. Maybe he should go visit this son of his.

The sound of Monica's footsteps above made him shove it carelessly into his back pocket; it fell to the ground.

"Morning" Chandler called up to Monica, as she began to walk down the stairs.
"Morning" she replied, little enthusiasm in her voice, as she walked straight past Chandler and into the kitchen.

"I know you don't like today" Chandler followed Monica into the kitchen, where she was sitting at the table "but c'mon, smile, please?" Chandler kissed Monica on the top of her head.

Monica looked up and gave Chandler a small smile, before laying her head on the table "I miss her" Monica's voice was almost silent.
"I know. I miss her too. But you've managed ten years without her. So surely you can manage the rest, however long that may be" Chandler's voice was comforting and soft.
"I guess" Monica replied sitting up "oh what did I do to deserve you hey?" Monica sighed. Chandler smiled.

"Bye!" Hallie emerged from the living room.

"School" Hallie replied.
"Wait up, come back here!" Chandler demanded.
"What?" Hallie asked, reluctantly doing what she was told.
"It's 7:19, in the morning. School doesn't start until 8:45, what are you up to?" Chandler asked.
"Nothing" Hallie lied "Mom isn't in the greatest of states today so I thought I would stop by a café and get myself some breakfast. Don't want tears in my cereal" Hallie began to walk away.
"Hallie" Chandler warned.
Hallie turned around, glaring at her father "what?" She asked, annoyed.
"Don't go and do anything stupid. Go get something to eat and go straight to school afterwards" Chandler handed Hallie some money.
"Thanks, love you, bye" Hallie quickly left the kitchen, grabbing her jacket and hat she left the house, before she could be stopped again.

It was winter, still dark out. But Hallie could be trusted. Hallie reached the end of the street and stopped, she rooted around her coat pocket. She wasn't going to a café. She wanted answers. Answers to why her father had Rachel's ultrasound. And as she held the crumpled up image in her hand, she knew just who to ask...
