Jessica's POV

Accidently starting forest fires isn't that fun. Especially when you have bad people who already want to kill you. The fire has had too much attention drawn towards me since my escape. I mean, a forest fire in Wisconsin... in a blizzard in January.

My main goal is to get the Surban County "Peace" Committee(SCPC) off my ass. They have been hunting me down for the past month. Come on, get a life. They need to accept the fact that they aren't catching me any time soon.

I grab my pride backpack and jog to the train station. It wasn't too crowded. It being a weekday and everything. Since I've been saving money since I was eight, I have enough cash to get me to Chicago.

I buy a ticket for the next Chicago train that will board at six thirty. I have time to buy some food since it's only five forty. I walk to the McDonalds they have awaiting me in the station. I still have to be aware of my surroundings. For all I know the woman in front of me in line could be working with the SCPC.

"What the hell are you looking at, you hussy?" The woman in front of me hissed. I realized I was staring at her. God, she's ugly.

"That ugly ass thing you call a face!" I snapped at her. She gasped then hit me in my arm with her purse and stomped away. Her reaction was the highlight of my day. I lightly chuckled.

"Well that was bitchy, you should get that checked, Jessica." I glance to where the voice originated form and saw a stunning girl. She had long raven hair and icy blue eyes. Her lips were pale and slightly chapped.

She's cute and short, which is fucking amazing. But something seems off about her. I'm getting a strange vibe from her. Usually I would trust my instincts and ignore her, but I couldn't keep my eyes off her.

"First of all babe, I'm always bitchy. Secondly, how do you know my name cupcake?" I internally slapped myself at my choice of words.

"I have my ways, now come on!" She says. She holds out her hand for me to take it.  Even with everything in me telling me not to go I reluctantly grabbed her small, cold hand.

She led me towards the emergency exit with our hands still interlocked.

"Wait, that has an alarm. That would be stupid if you opened it.". I push past her and stand in front of the door. She looked shocked.
"And if anyone is going to do anything stupid,"
I quickly turn around and push the door open with full force. It violently opened,"it's me babe."
