"This weeks secret word is pineapple. Go comment that on my newest youtube video and mention your twitter so if i see it i can follow you and we can confuse people at the same time," I said to my YouNow. Wow these comments kept flowing in I cant see everybody.
"Alright guys I have school tomorrow and it's already getting late. I'm gonna end my YouNow now, follow some of you, then go to bed," I said before I disconnected. I watched to first few YouNows after mine because they're usually fans of mine trying to get my attention and I just want to notice all my fans. I went onto my YouTube video and followed 85 people that night before I fell asleep.
I turned my alarm off before I got ready for school. I still go to school even though I'm "internet famous." Only my family and YouTube friends know about my channel. I live in San Francisco but I'm moving to LA in the summer and then I will be homeschooled. I threw on jean shorts, a band t-shirt and my black vans. I said bye to my mom and headed off to school on my penny board.
"Hey Lacey," I said to my best friend.
"Celia! I tried calling you yesterday to se if you wanted to hang out but you didn't answer," Lacey said, she sounded pretty upset about it.
"Uh, sorry! I was helping my mom pack things around the house and my phone was in my room," I couldn't tell her about my YouTube channel, "Lets get to English so we don't get detention again."
We started walking but she was on her phone looking on her twitter.
"Celia are you sure you don't have a twitter, or instagram? I mean you have an iPhone, it seems like a waste not to have social networking apps on it," Lacey was pretty good at wording questions. But to me this sounded more like why did you block me on everything.
"Lace, don't be crazy. I'm just not into that stuff," I said. It wasn't my best cover but it was good enough.
"Ok.. I mean I guess I have to take that as an answer. Do you need help packing?"
"Yeah. Wanna come over after school," I asked as I put my board in my locker and took my bag out for class.
"Sure. I have off last period today. Do you?"
"Yeah. So we can leave early and have extra time packing."
Right after I said that the bell rang and we sprinted to English so we weren't detention late, again.
