One cold and dreary night, Luke was sitting, alone and tired, staring and a blank page, his large hand pressed up against his face, leaning against his desk. His lower body was hurting from staying in his single place, drawing for his growing number of fans. His eyes had began to close as the night drew on - the rest of his family was already asleep, their creaks as they moved echoing through the dark, otherwise empty house.
After a long night of deleted art and embarrassing "Cards Against Humanity" games, Luke had finally decided he better get some rest, so he drowsily pressed down on his computer's power button, and went to climb the slowly splintering wooden stairs, when there was a gentle knock on the small, clouded window.
Luke suddenly swivelled round, worried, but curious about the knocking on the window. Against his morals and knowingness, he gently paced over to the window, attempting to see what knocked against the window.
As he stalked up to the window, whatever was there knocked again, slightly louder this time - harsher, too. Slowly, he opened up the clouded window: feet. He saw some sea-blue converses, tapping against the leafy padding on the floor. A familiar voice spoke gently to Luke, "Are you gonna let me in or what?!"
Luke gasped, for this was no murderer or assassin here to slaughter Luke, but his sweet as chocolate girlfriend. He throw open the window to let her in, when suddenly, she fell onto him, closing the door behind her.
"W-What are you doing?!" Luke stammered, confused and flustered.
"....Luke.." Carolyn whispered, pressing her lips up against Luke's neck, wrapping her legs around his torso. She held her hands against his cheeks, keeping his head still. Luke closed his eyes, as Carolyn pressed her lips against his, pushing his pants off with her feet.
Suddenly, a small tapping can be heard down the stairs as someone came down them: "Luke....?" a small voice called out, " I had a bad dream....."
Luke and Carolyn stared into each other's eyes, realising that Luke brother was going to spot them...
They both jerked upwards, Carolyn darting over to the other room to distract Luke's younger brother while Luke quickly retrieved his pants and pulled them back on.
"Carolyn!!" cried Jackson, leaping into her arms, Carolyn giggling as she ruffled his hair. Finally, Luke ran into the room, scooping up Jackson, hugging him tightly,
"So, you had a bad dream, huh?", smiled Luke, comforting Jackson with his warmth.
"Yeah....it was really scary......I felt like was all alone...." frowned Jackson, with clear fright and terror.
"Hey!" , grinned Carolyn, "We're with ya' now!, no need to be afraid!"
"....Can you put me back to bed Luke...?" said Jackson, tears welling up in his eyes, as he held onto Luke's black hoodie.
".....Oh, alright then....!" cheered Luke, smiling at Jackson as he strolled up the stairs, trying to keep quiet so he doesn't wake up his other family members.
As he reached his brother bedroom, Luke laid Jackson down, as he pulled the duvet over him.
"Is that okay there, Jack?" , Luke asked, as he let the warm, heavy blanket fall over Jackson, a warmth that would smother his body while he slept. After saying this, Luke spun on his feet and went to turn off the light when Jackson suddenly called out to him,
"...Can you tuck me in, please?" he said, the sounds gently drifting into Luke's ears, stopping him in his tracks.
"...Sure!" Luke said, swiftly moving over to Jack's bed, and as he reached it, he pressed the blanket's under Jack to keep him in place.
"Is that alright?" smiled Luke, tilting his head slightly.
"Yeah, thank you, Luke!" grinned Jack at his brother, happily.
"Alright, G'night!" Luke said, as he walked out of the room, turning off the light and closing the door behind him.
"Will you tuck me in?" whispered Carolyn.
