The past few days were hectic for her so time off from work was exactly what she needed. Flying out to London from the US for a couple of days with her Tom. When she arrived at the airport she began to feel more stress from all the paparazzi hounding at them. Tom pulled her close as they reached his car.

As they placed their seatbelts over their shoulders Tom could also sense how nervous and overwhelmed she became. He took a big deep breath in and reached for her hand. "Ready?" he said squeezing her hand. Lynn squeezed his hand back and smiled with a nod. Tom began to pull out of the parking lot praying the paparazzi would be respectful and move out of their way. He did not want anything to ruin their weekend. Being the new hot couple of the moment was a bit annoying for him. He had gone through all this before but never with someone he truly cared about. Lynn was different from the others. After meeting in a coffee shop in New Mexico of all places he knew she was going to change everything. Deep in his thoughts the car remained quiet.

Lynn looked at Tom sitting quietly which was unusual for him. "Everything ok? Is this about what happened back there? I know it comes with the territory. So if you are worried about it don't be. I'm ok and we are going to have a great time this week." she smiled at him and laid her head on his shoulder. Even though she felt scared with what took place listening to him breathe and having his hand in hers calmed her. Working as a teacher and dating a celebrity was just the oddest pairing. Teachers never date celebrities but somehow she became the one who also happened to be her favorite actor. Spacing out on the road, silence hit the car once again.

Tom broke the silence,  "You're right. The point of this holiday is so we could spend time together. I guess no matter what as long as we are together. The paparazzi does come with the territory and I know we can handle it. I just really want you to be happy and safe."

Lynn smiled and looked put the window.
"Well here we are. My home and yours for the next few days." Tom said with an excitement. Lynn's mouth dropped open. "This is so beautiful!" she said quickly opening her car door.

"Ehehe... Thank you. My mum had a little input on the decorating. She has great taste." He said unloading her bags from the trunk.

Tom held her hand once again. He did not want to stop holding for the fear of waking up and finding it was not real. The two walk inside and as he switched on his lights she finds the house filled with photos, books, and amazing art on the wall. Dragging her finger tips on the walls were her way of making sure this moment was not a dream.

"Go ahead. Make yourself at home and I'll start on dinner. I know how long that flight is and the jet lag can be annoying so you relax" Tom said leading her up to the bedroom. He laid her bag on the bed and pointed out where she could place her stuff.

Lynn sat on the edge of the bed feeling tired but eager to explore. She showered and dressed in a comfy sweater and sweat pants. As she made her way downstairs she remembered the room with all the books. In every video posted in this place she always wanted to know what those books were. She gazed up at the book case to find all types of books ranging from Shakespeare to psychology and fiction. One book caught her attention, carefully she pulled it put from its place and began skimming it.

"Hey, seems you have found my hiding place." Startled by the sudden voice she turns around and finds Tom leaning in the doorway. "I was just curious about these books and what you love to read. You are always so full of thoughts in your interviews and I just wanted to know what influences those thoughts". She said holding the book open.

"What made you choose that book?" Tom said taking the book from her hand and flicking the pages with his thumb. "Out of all these books why this one?" he asked again.

"Well, its the only one with a beat up cover. The creases on the spine of the book tell me its been read a lot. I figured that this must be a favorite." she replied.

"But, what if I got it in this condition?" he said again.

Lynn smile and shrugged her shoulders "Still, must be worth reading. Obviously the person who had that book loved it enough to care more about what was written in it than the cover." Tom was speechless by her reply.

"It is a great book. I never had anyone grab this book before. It is always my Shakespeare collection they run to. You are the first to look at my books and discover my hidden treasure." He handed her the book, "read it and tell me what you think of it. Dinner is ready." Tom kissed her forehead and led her to the kitchen. He stood in the room for a moment and looked back. Tom finally knew he found his one.
