Sister Sister

Beginning

My name is Arielle Moon, i am 15 years old. I have Crystal blue eyes, i am a little chubby, with long curly hair and I'm 5'4. I like writing, singing, playing sports and dancing. I was born and raised in Lyon, France. I moved to the US few weeks ago with my family. I am very nervous to start school in the US because i don't know anybody yet. This is going to be very hard.

"Arielle, can you please go get the door, i think it's the pizza your brothers ordered," my mom called from the laundry room.

"I'm coming." I yelled running downstairs and almost tripping over my oldest brother's bags.

I opened the door to see a girl with long blond hair, she was taller than me by an inch or two.

"Hey, I am Briella Brown. Nice to meet you." she said with a very nice smile. "Hey Briella, I'm Arielle Moon, It is very nice to meet you too." i replied. "Welcome to the neighborhood, my Mother asked me to deliver these as a welcoming gift. Its homemade." she said as she handed some biscuits, they smelled very good. "Thank you so much." i said with a huge smile on my face. " you're welcome, so what school will you be attending?" She asked. "Hmm.. I think it's called River-view High School." i reply.

"That is so cool, i go to that school. I got to go but let me give you my number and we will talk and hangout these three weeks before school starts, that way i can show you around before you need to walk home from school or go to the local shop." she said as she hands me her phone. We exchange phone numbers and said bye to each other.

"Who was that?" my mom asked. "Oh, that was our neighbor, her name is Briella and she goes to Riverview High School. She was asked by her mom to deliver these homemade biscuits as a welcoming gift." I said while grabbing some to eat. "That's nice, we should invite them over to dinner sometime." my mom said. "Well mommy, i am going to text my new friend and ask if she wants to go take a walk in the park or go to the mall." i said running in my room. "Okay babe, don't stay long, oh and tell her to tell her family thanks for the biscuits." she yelled after me.

To Briella:

Hey, this is Arielle from earlier. I am very bored, do you want to go to the mall later?

From Briella

Hey Arielle, sure that sounds great. See you at 3:00.

I walked up to my closet and looked for the most comfy clothes there.

The time passed very slowly. At 3:00, i heard a knock on my door. "Ari, your friend is here, my 16 years old brother Aiden yelled up to me.

I ran downstairs to see him talking to her. "Hey Arielle." she said with a smile. "Hey Briella. Thanks for keeping her company Aiden." I said with a smile. "It was my pleasure." he said with a wink keeping his eyes on her the whole time. I rolled my eyes and stepped outside as Aiden closed the door behind us.

"I'm sorry about my brother." i say as we walked to the black car that was parked in front of my house.

"It's fine, he was very sweet and he's kinda cute." she said with a shy smile. "If you say so." I replied.

At the mall, she showed me where she and her friends hangout on Fridays, it was a nice small cafe in the middle of the mall, it had a nice coffee scent, it was quiet with nice soft music.

"This place smells so good." I say to her. "Now you see why we love to come here, Do you want to meet my friends tomorrow? I told them about you and they are very excited to meet you." She said.

"Oh my gosh, that would be freaking awesome."

"Great, we can meet here tomorrow.

After a few hours of talking and getting to know each other, she called her mom to pick us since it had gotten dark.

"Hey girls, did you guys have fun?"

"Yeah, we are meeting here tomorrow with the other girls." Briella said.

"Oh well that will be fun. Well see you tomorrow Arielle." Her mom said.

"Thanks for the ride, see you tomorrow." I said getting out of the car and walking to my house door.

"Hey Ari, how was it?" My oldest brother Alex greeted me at the door.

"It was really fun, this place is very nice." I said giving him a hug, we are very close.

"Okay Arielle, go to bed it's late, i will make you something and bring it up there soon."

I walk upstairs to my warm and comfy teal, black and white room and jumped on the bed.

'I really want them to like me tomorrow, it would be very nice to have few friends here.' I thought to myself as i put on some music and jumped in the tub to take a nice warm bath. 

*sigh* "I love this feeling."

After my warm bath, i put on my 'i love sleep' pigamas, grabbed my book and jump in bed, few minutes later i heard a knock on the door.

"You can come." i yelled while keeping my head down in my book. "Hey princess, here's your dinner." Alex said with a smile. "Thanks Alex, you are the best." i said giving him a hug. "Go to bed soon, okay."

"Okay Alex, Goodnight." i say with a grateful smile and watery mouth. Alex and i look very much alike, he is 22 years old, he had deep blue eyes like my father and his hair was very curly and blond. He moved here to go to school.

After eating, walked downstairs to put my plate away.

'Today was great.' I thought. I ran upstairs and went straight to bed.
