We have two authors this time and their sections are both quite short, so we've shared them at once.

Short but powerful advice from the girl who made "Islamic Romance" widespread on Wattpad, KittyCrackers. Her story 'A Muslim's Romantic Journey' was many people's first foray into Islamic Fiction.

1) Keep it halal (if it's Islamic).

2) Keep it real. Write in a way which makes everything believable.

3) Have good messages so it teaches people while entertaining them.

4) Have good intentions. Don't write something for fame, write it for the purpose of benefiting someone.

5) Give a good representation of Islam.

One of the most spiritually boosting writers on Wattpad, abdofRahman. Reading one chapter of her story 'In Your Love' will leave you mesmerized.

• Do loads of duaa to Allah SWT. Trust me, He will help you loads to write beautifully.

• When you make your characters stick to the rules of shari'ah, then you will have numerous opportunities to add Islamic elements to your romance novel. Also, when your characters love Allah SWT and adore Nabi SAW and his sunnah, well then you could write tons about it.

• Another important point is, if you really want to add Islamic elements to romance, then increase your knowledge of those Islamic elements. For knowledge is power!

• Never forget that Islam is the way of life and romance is just a part of life. So don't make it vice versa. 😉

• Lastly, or I guess I should have said firstly, get your niyyah (intention) straight. If you write to please Allah SWT, then He will reward you to please you. 😊
