*BEEP *BEEP *BEEP

Not ready to wake up I slam my hand on the alarm to shut it off.

"Are we gonna start getting the party ready?" Mack's voice rasped into the cold thick morning air.

I opened my eyes and sat up. " I suppose so."

I got out of the bed and went over to the vanity. I washed my face, brushed my teeth, tied my hair up and exited my bedroom. I looked around to see if any decorations went out of place. Everything seemed fine so I went to the massive kitchen and begin to cook breakfast. Pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, hash browns... everything you could think of laid out in front of you.

"Geez Dakotah when  you cook you really cook." Mack said shoving a piece of waffle into her mouth.

"Yes Ma'am." I laughed with a mouth full of food. One reason I've always loved my friendship with Mack is the fact that I can be myself around her. I don't have to pretend to be someone else because she just knows and loves me regardless. It was 11:30 by now and I had to pick up a few last minute items. I sent my Chauffeur to buy the alcohol since I'm 18.

.............

(5 pm later that day)

Since it's 5 Mack and I decided to get ready. My make up, a perfect smokey eye and bright red lip. My hair, curled and flowing. And i had to pick my outfit. I decided to go with my handy pair of ripped jeans with a white tank top. And a flannel around my waist. I'm all finished and i turn around and i see Mack and she looks absolutely gorgeous. Her hair straight and sleek. Her make up light and subtle. Her outfit is a cute little pink dress. I think she's always going to be the girlier of us two, but I like us as a mix.

"Wow. We look hot don't we?" I said to her.

"Absolutely." She replied.

It was now 6:30 so i decide to start putting the food out. Right as we finish I hear the door bell ring. I ran over to the door and opened it. And as usual with parties, you hardly know anyone who comes, but i let them in and start the music. Parties usually take off as more people come, so people begin coming and coming. You could barely walk around with all the people who soon consumed the room.

I walk around welcoming people and introducing myself.

*Thump* I was suddenly knocked to the ground and i look up to see Jack offering his hand to me. I accepted his help and he apologized for knocking me over. I decided to hang out with him for now because I hadn't seen Lillian yet. So, we walked around and we danced and we drank- well he drank technically. I could tell her was beginning to get really drunk.

"Hey do y-you wanna c-come with me upstairs?" he said slurring his words.

"Jack no. You're dating Lillian." i said staring him dead in the eyes.

" I know... but she doesn't have to know." Jack pleaded.

Any other time I'd be so down to do anything he wanted me to do, but i had a raging head ache and I honestly am just not ready for that right now. I walked away from him and went to find Mack. When i finally found her she was with Lillian so I pulled Mack away.

"What the hell--"

"Jack tried to take me upstairs." I blurted out.

"What?!" Mack exclaimed.

"He asked me to fucking come upstairs with him. He literally asked me to." I said in disbelief.

Mack turned away and began walking towards Jack. I quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her back.

"What about Lillian? Are you really gonna let her get hurt." I said just loud enough for her to hear.

She knew I was right and she most likely assumed it was because of the alcohol. But she doesn't know about the time in the wine cellar. I specifically dont tell her for this reason exactly. She has no self control.

So, me and Mack danced the entire night together until everyone decided to leave.
