Chapter Two – The First Date

Secondly, she pulled out a rock, from the beach that they went to on their first date. Where they got to know each other properly for the first time.

***FLASHBACK***

Carla heard a knock at the door and she excitedly skipped down the stairs making sure no one else got there before her. She opened the door to see a beautiful Korean boy standing there with a bright smile on his face.
"Good Morning, are you ready for an amazing day?" Jimin grinned, she nodded in a rush, making herself a little light headed. As she steadied herself, they waltzed, side by side, to Jimin's car. As awkward as it was, Carla tried to remain calm as she looked at Jimin's relaxed face, she was unsure how to go about speaking to him, and what should they talk about?! She was never really very good with dates, let alone first dates and with a member of Bangtan Boys, big time KPop band! As they sat in the car, Carla breathed in and recognised the smell instantly as Jimin's scent from when she hugged him previously, the car was definitely used by Jimin a lot.

"So, where are we going?" Carla asked, looking at Jimin who was looking at his phone trying to answer messages before turning it off for the day ahead. Carla didn't have a clue where the date was going to be, what had been planned, Jimin insisted that he would plan it all even after Carla constantly sent him messages, asking if she could help, trying to guilty him. He already seemed very patient, which was useful as Carla was quite the opposite. Jimin turned his phone off and looked up at Carla, he smiled softly but that turned into a wide grin and he giggled the slightest bit.
"Don't worry, it's nothing posh, just a simple day out is all." Jimin simply spoke, he started the car and drove. Carla decided to not reply and just looked out the window.

The car journey was silent for the most part, Carla had thought of some questions to ask Jimin but then decided that she should save it for the actual date and not have all the questions completed in the car journey only. The two exchanged small glimpses at times and just smiled. Even though it was silent, Carla relaxed at the sight of Jimin, she knew she was in safe hands and that he would not do anything to hurt her.

Soon after, Jimin parked the car and Carla saw that they were at the beach, the pier in close sight. When Carla looked over at Jimin, he shrugged "I like the beach, and the amusements"
"Me too, I love it" Carla beamed slightly, she dreaded the idea of being taken to a posh restaurant or somewhere which was way too high-class for her, the beach and pier were perfect.

As they stepped out of the car, Jimin grabbed Carla's hand and took her to the pier where they soon entered the amusements. There were lights all over the place, mostly flashing, attracting people to play that particular game. There were not as many people as Carla expected, wandering around the penny machines and trying so hard to get the toys that were destined to fall and get stuck. Jimin spotted Carla staring at the air hockey machine and led her towards it, he put in the 50p (A/N Carla lives in England and some of the BTS boys went to college in England before forming BTS... IDEK OK) requested for the game and went to the other side. He prompted Carla to pick up the puck ready for the game to start.

The two spent hours in the pier amusements, running from different games, the dance machine – which Jimin was obviously too good at – the penny machines, shooting games, all sorts they tried and got too competitive at each and every one. Carla learnt a lot more about Jimin and vice versa, Carla didn't hesitate to admit she fancied Jimin a lot and hoped that he felt the same way. But the way he would stop what he was doing to look at her and smile, gave her the idea that he did.

After competing on every competitive game in the amusements, and enjoying it, they decided to walk the length of the pier to just talk more. The music playing sent Jimin into a spur of dance, which Carla stood back and just watched. His dancing caused quite an audience, which was totally unnecessary but Jimin exclaimed he was too happy to not dance in this moment, Carla shrugged it off and danced along – just not as great.

The day ended with them sitting on the beach until sunset, Carla's head on Jimin's shoulder, sometimes just in silence and taking in the moments where it fit them. Jimin took out his phone and took a picture of the two and saving it, "the first of many I hope" Jimin softly whispered in to Carla's ear, who also hoped this would be true. Jimin was enthusiastic and never took no for an answer, he dragged Carla in to the water and begged she paddle with him. This then obviously turned in to a splash fight and resulted in the both of them dripping with the salty sea water and in fits of laughter. They plodded back to the car, where Jimin took out towels and handed one to Carla to warm up and dry herself, he obviously intended to drag her into the water from the start.

As they arrived back outside Carla's house, she exclaimed a loud sigh, she was quite disappointed that the day was over, she had hoped it would never end. She looked at Jimin and pouted. He moved closer to her and hugged her, ending the hug when he started with playing with her hair.
"This won't be the last date, I promise" Jimin spoke as if he read Carla's mind. "I hope you would let me take you out on another date, or that you would like to see me again"
"Of course I would, thank you so much for today Jimin, I had an amazing day" Carla tiredly smiled, kissing Jimin on the cheek which made him blush the slightest bit. She turned and after exiting the car, watched him drive away. She sighed to herself once more, wishing she could still be with him.

***BACK TO REALITY***

"Doesthis not make you realise that we were meant to be together? We clicked as soonas we got to that pier, we didn't stop talking that whole day and I don't thinkI have ever laughed as much as I did that day" Carla cried, eyes blowing up more and more whengoing through the memory box, in desperate attempts of forcing Jimin tounderstand why she is fighting and him to just speak.
