“Can you see them yet?” You asked your older sister. You looked through the crowd of new arrivals as yet another bunch came through.

“No... not yet.” She replied holding a hand up to shield her eyes from the sun. You sighed looking on. The airport sure was busy today, then again it was probably like this every day. Loads of people walking about. Announcements going off every few minuets talking about flights or safety stuff. The clatter of wheels from suitcases as they were rolled around. Every so often an argument would turn up over tickets or not being able to board with their luggage. All the normal commotion of an airport.

“I hope they get here soon.” You said quietly to yourself as another flight had landed. You and your older sister had been working out in Europe for Lord Death. You were a meister and your older sister worked as your weapon. It had been a couple of months you had heard from Lord Death himself. Normally you just heard information and missions passed down from the resident Death Scythe. But today you had been contacted directly by Lord Death himself. You couldn't help but giggle as you had forgotten how strange his voice sounded. Giggles aside he had given you a new and important mission. There had been rumours that the demon weapon known as Giriko had been lurking around your local area. Lord Death said that he was sending over 2 students from the DWMA to help out in your area.

His reason for this was that you and your sister were still very new at your role so he thought it best to send over some good role models. Your mission was to uncover what Giriko's plans were and if need be foil them. Your sister had nodded and accepted the mission, though Lord Death warned you not to tell your resident Death Scythe what you were up to. It was best he didn't know who your enemy was. You were just to tell him you had a mission from Lord Death. As the mirror rippled and faded you and your sister turned and headed out to the airport.

“Hang on. I think I see them.” Your older sister grinned pointing forwards. “There they are.”
You followed her point and sure enough in the mix of the crowd, there were two students walking towards you. You looked down to the rough description you had been given by Lord Death and it seemed to match up. Looking back up again with a smile, you could immediately sense there was tension between the pair.

“Look I'm sorry I forgot to pack it, it doesn't matter.” The boy wearing a yellow and black jacket said in a bored tone. His silver hair styled to one side. He walked with his head down as his partner ranted at him.

“Yes it is important Soul!” The girl wearing a long black coat, cream jumper, red pleated skirt and a green tie shouted at him. Her hair tied in two pigtails, her green eyes glaring at him. “We actually do need to have a description of our hosts or how are we supposed to find them?”

“Look, I'm sure Lord Death would of called ahead. I'm sure they'll be here.” He grumbled, his eyes looking away from the enraged girl next to him. You froze as his red eyes found yours. A moment seemed to hold, you were unsure what was going on. You sensed a connection somehow.

“Maka Alban? Soul Evans?” Your older sister called out, snapping you from your daze. Maka, the girl looked over and smiled to the two of you. She pulled along her suitcase and beelined for you. Soul seemed to trail a little way behind her with a rucksack.

“See I told you they would be waiting for us.” Soul said with a small smirk. Maka turned away from him in frustration. Smiling to you and your sister.

“Thanks for coming to meet us. Someone forgot to pack the details of our mission.” She glared at her partner. He simply shrugged in reply.

“It all worked out in the end, I can't see what you're so bothered about.” He said brushing away the glare. You couldn't shake that feeling. Looking at Soul, you sensed a connection. Some sort of familiarity. You currently were unsure what it was. When everything calmed down later. You would spend some time practicing reading souls.

“Well at least you are both here in one piece.” Your older sister said trying to defuse the tension. “How about we take you out to lunch?”

“That sound really good. Thank you.” Maka smiled nodding to her. You smiled.

“I know a really good cafe not to far from here.” You spoke up. “I think you guys will really like it.”

“Thanks, that food they served on the plane doesn't even count as a snack.” Soul said. You couldn't help but giggle.

“Well... let's go!” You cheered. The group nodded in agreement and you all set off.
