My Breakfast Ate Me!
Pardon me, my good parents. I don't mean to be rude. But I'm hungry you see and I'd like some good food. A big breakfast is needed, let's get on the way. I know a great place where we can eat, eat all day!
To Merlin's Café, where the food is enchanted. A unique experience can be taken for granted. So many choices, hmmmmm...this one looks great. It's called 'Inside Out'. I'll order that plate.
Look, here it comes. But the plate it's all nude. Where is the breakfast? Has the chef become rude? Pardon me my dear chef, but my plate it is bare. Except for these letters that appeared from nowhere!
"Have a taste!" it says in hand-written whipped cream. I'll do what it says and go along with the scheme. Four fingers should do, on two hands that makes eight. Hey! The whipped cream is growing right out of my plate.
With cream all around me, I can't see the café. Can this really be breakfast, the start of my day? There's a great big, dark hole opening up like a gate. Now the breakfast has swallowed me right through my plate!
I'm in a dark tunnel and falling straight down. I've landed quite softly on a lump of hash brown. Pardon me my good breakfast, have I changed a gear? I was just set to eat you, but now I am here!
Now, Merlin's Café is a magical deli. But how bizarre that I'm the one in the belly! I wanted some breakfast. I was hungry, you see. But I've not eaten my breakfast. My breakfast ate me!
What a very strange place, the strangest I've seen. This belly is a world like none I have been. Scrambled eggs piled so high they look just like mountains. Maple syrup and chocolate sauce jumping from fountains.
Cinnamon toast leaves on waffle cone trees. Sugared pancake snowflakes fall down in threes. This whole place is food! I could eat here all day. But I really must go, I simply can't stay.
Pardon me my good breakfast, may I rejoin my folks? I'm hungry as well, and could use a few yolks. What's that you say? I won't be ejected? You feel nice and full so this won't be corrected?!
I don't have a choice. I need to return. There must be a way to make this big belly churn. If I eat lots and lots, my small size will exceed. Then this breakfast that ate me will quickly unfeed.
Toast, golden brown with cinnamon butter. Pancakes galore with no time to putter. Warm syrup by the cup! Let's make it a cask. Then ten pounds of hash-browns, I'm up to the task!
A little more waffle, some eggs for the takin'. Another hot pancake, and crisp strips of bacon.I'll eat and I'll eat. There's no need to stop. Wait just a minute. I heard a BIG POP!!!
I've eaten so much my pants are quite tight. They're still attached, but something's not right. My belly button has changed, it looks like a spout. It used to go in, but now it's popped out!
My belly has grown. It's squeezing my sweater. Eating much less may have been better.
I'm full to the head. I've become a big mound. Wait!.... What's that rumbling?.... That's a troubling sound.
Pardon me my good breakfast, I don't think we feel well. I've eaten too much and you must feel the swell. That rumbling sound tells me your belly feels sore. You may wish to spit me right out of the door.
The whipped cream is swirling and lifting me high. I must say I'm thrilled to bid you good-bye. I'm going sky high back into my plate.
That was one freaky breakfast, but it sure did taste great! Sitting back at the table and I simply must shout. I just ate my breakfast from the inside out!
Pardon me my good parents, I'm covered in goo. My breakfast just ate me, don't let it eat you! My outie's back in and my pants fit alright. I'm still covered in cream, but my sweater's not tight.
Now where is that chef? Let's get going and pay. We can come back to Merlin's some other day.
Pardon me, my good parents. I'd like to go home. Straight there is preferred, there's no time to roam. A bath is required, I'm sticky you see!
For I've not eaten my breakfast. My breakfast ate me!
