I look at YoonGi, allowing tears to flow down my hot cheeks, "Y-yes!" I cried out loud excitingly, then hugged him tightly, "Saranghae, and this is for real this time!" I assured him, while still crying my heart out, "Saranghaeyo," YoonGi said back, not playfully, not teasingly, but seriously and lovingly.
I could hear YoonGi's heartbeat loud and clear, it's beating fast. YoonGi hugged me back tightly. I noticed that my tears were getting on YoonGi's grey uniform, "Ah.. Mainhae.." I aplogized, then got out of the hug, trying to stop myself from crying, but instead, YoonGi pulled out his hankerchief from his pocket and wiped off the tears on my face with that.
"Did you like my present for your birthday?" YoonGi asked, while putting his hankerchief back in his pocket, "Of course I did! I thought that you forgot about my birthday today.." I pouted playfully, "Why would I forget my first love's birthday?" He said while ruffling my hair like I was a kid. I looked at him shockingly, "I-I was your f-first love?!" I said, surprised, stuttering some words, "Surprise?" YoonGi chuckled, "Wasn't it too obvious that I liked you since high-school?" I thought about what he said, and I didn't notice all the "boyfriendly" things he did back then, until now. "Mianhae.. You know that I'm clueless," I said awckwardly, scratching the back of my neck with my free hand. "Happy birthday, ma cherie," YoonGi greeted, then winked, "Please don't do the wink thing," I laughed.
I managed to stop myself from laughing while I saw YoonGi staring at me, "YoonGi..?" I questioned but he kept on staring at my face, not my eyes, but lower, not lower than my chin, but between my nose and chin... My lips, "Yah! Earth to Min YoonGi?.." I tried to get his attention, but he was slowly taking steps towards me, he kept on looking at my lips, until his face was inches away from mine to me. He held my chin with one hand to lift my head up, I looked at him confusingly, but then, I felt his soft lips on top of mine.
I finally had my first kiss.. From Min YoonGi, my best friend.
