A/N: This is officially my first book that I want to continue. So if you like it when you read it please ask your fellow friends to read it too. Thank you for your support on just entering the book. This first chapter is dedicated to my best friends. Who East is based on. This chapter and most are going to in Eliza's point of view.
-------------------------------------------------------------
I stood as my only best friend tried to convince me to take a break from my painting and go out with her and the rest if the crew. I sighed with frustration. "East, I can't leave my work....it is almost done and I have no time to waste." I started to go back to painting with the music in the background. Closer rang out as silence took over the room.
"Okay Elli, I know painting is a stress reliever, but your friends care and want what is best for you, and that isn't staying locked in your room for ages. So let's clean this paint off your face and get you into some cleaner closes then this wet paint covered jeans." East persuaded confidently. Her chestnut hair bounced as she turned on her heel and walked to my closet. Her blue eyes scanned over my paint covered clothing. A little sparkle shown up as her eyes landed on my only nice shirt. A blank three forths sleeved black shirt with a rebal lace back.
My head shook,"no way am I going out in that....aren't we just going to the mall or something?"
"Well you see, I haven't been completely been honest but trust me...and come with me" East pleaded with her coral blue eyes wide as she wished.
"Fine but only cause you are my best friend and sister"I sighed as she pushed me into the bathroom to change. After so, she rushed us to leave and hurried us over to her house. I smiled as the home came into view. I have always loved her house. Located in a little wooded area and a pond out front. A two story cabin comes into view and about two to three barns. Chickens roam the area and multiple paths can be seen leaving her property. This place was my second home. My only real home. Here is where I had a caring sister, a mother, and a little sister to tease. It was here that I was able to get a piece of mind while still being around others. This was the type of place I would love to live in one day.
Anyways, I smiled walking through the front door to see the kitchen. Next thing I know all my friends jumped up from behind the counter. Six of them total. All my friends since elementary. Well a few. I feel a tear slip down my face and I hig each and every friend. "This is your going away party. We know we wont see you in a long time but we will never forget about you." East said gently as a tear runs down her face too. Christen came over and embraced her softly.
"Well it looks like we need the mood to lighten up....how about we get this party started" I said and began to turn music up and we laughed as we talked and ate. It was like any other times. The peacefulness as all of us shared our most embarrassing times during that school year. Our Sophomore year. The last year I was going to see them everyday. The last day I have classes with them. This was the last day I get to see them. Yet, I still make the most of it. If only these words could come back.
