Alison's POV
Jamie sat driving while I sat in the passenger seat holding back tears. What had happened? Was he sick? Had he gotten hurt? No it had to be really bad if my mom had to call. I couldn't take it anymore I burst into tears. Jamie looked over and tried to pull over. "No no just keep driving I'm fine!!!" I tried to control myself but the tears just came streaming down. By the time we got there my mascara was a mess. Jamie grabbed a tissue and wiped my face. "You alright?" I looked into those brown eyes of his and said "no I'm not Jamie I need to get I there." We got out of the car and met my mom in the waiting room. "James, would you mind?" "Of course Mrs Mosshart all the time you need." Jamie replied kindly. Aww if I weren't in this situation right know I would so be making out with him now. Stop it! Your beloved father is in the hospital! Stop thinking about stuff that should only be thought of when in bed/shower. "Alison, your dad is um his time is coming." I stared at her. I knew he had stage 4 brain cancer but now why now? "Mom?" She wrapped her arms around me. "Can I see him?" I asked still choked. "Yeah of course." She said quietly. She led me down the hall and Jamie came with me. My dad laid in the room attached to many machines. I swallowed hard. Jamie pushed me forward a bit. "Go." He whispered.
