// So this originally was supposed to be a Reader pov, but i had another ideas so i might write a completely different story based around them comment what you guys think.//

Your family life was always really good, you and your parents live right next door to your best friend. You tend to see him pretty often whether its at school or sneaking out into of your window into his. You always had feelings for him, like how could you not?! he was always so nice and sweet to you and no one had ever been so amazing. you always thought it was always just a stupid crush so you pushed it off.

Your POV

I woke up that morning to a phone call. Rolling over groggily I answered not paying attention to who was calling, it was a very familiar voice through the phone he sounded distressed asking to come over and I agreed before realizing who I just accepted company from. I then took this as a wake up call to get up and get ready to meet this person, and thats what i did. I glanced at my phone seeing it was 9 AM on a Sunday. i slowly got ready still processing the phone call. I slipped on a simple crew neck and some jeans making my way upstairs. I walked into the kitchen and greeted my mother she hanged me a mug full of tea ( or coffee i like tea though). I sat down on the couch and waited. i was watching the morning cartoon reruns of yesterday, slowly sipping my drink. The door bell rang. I placed my cup on the side table and walked to the door opening it with out looking through the peephole, to my surprise it was Geoff. He looked utterly flustered and angry.

"Um Geoff you okay?"

" we need to talk.." his voice was low I've never heard it like that before. he walked into my house, everything seems wrong hes never rang the bell he always walks right in.

" okay?? Do you wanna come down.." before i finished my sentence he grabbed my hand and started walking down to my room. He opened the door for me and then shut it after me. His back slide down my door with his head in his palms.

"What's wrong?" I said softly sitting next to him,

" Y/N im leaving?" he mumbled.

" Like a vacation?"

" no.. my dad got a job offer in Houston and were leaving in a week..." My stomach dropped I wasnt able to process his words right.

" oh.." was all i could muster. i embraced him like ive never done he was breathing heavy. then i had an ide to whisper something in his ear

" wanna go get tacobell?" he nodded his head while resting it on my shoulder.
I lifted him up out of his weird funk and took him upstairs, we walked outside of my house and down our street to the nearest tacobell. He started talking about how he didn't want to leave me and promising that he'd always stay in touch. We got our order to go and went to the park we always hung out at. There was a specific bench that we sat on, we have since we first met. It was our bench. We even carved our names in it. We sat there facing each other eating and telling jokes. He was more than my best friend. He was the boy I loved, I would never tell him that though. I didn't want t ruin what we already had. I know I'll miss him but the most I can do is spend the most time with him I can.
