"Hey Del." Elijah says entering my room carelessly kicking the door shut behind him and hopping on to my bed.
I yawn stretching my arms out and sitting up in bed, I had just woken up minutes before and wasn't really planning on an early morning chat with the bro.
"Morning Elijah."
"It's like one o'clock." I shrug pushing the blankets off of me and snatching my phone of my bedside table. "So you were with Louis yesterday?" He continues curiously and I roll my eyes knowing exactly where he was going with this.
"Yes I was with Louis, why do you ask?"
"Do you like him?"
"Yes."
"Oh."
He assumed I meant it in 'that' way, which I did but I didn't expect him to take it that way.
"So does he like you?"
"Yes."
"Are you guys gonna like date?"
"I don't know, we'll see."
"You would tell me if he did anything to you right?"
"Elijah you know Louis almost as well as I do, he's completely harmless." Elijah lowers his head staying quiet. "Yes, I would tell you." A small smile tugs at his lips.
"I'm glad it's him, I like him more than the other anonymous boyfriends you've had over the years."
"Me too."
He smiles kissing my forehead before hopping off my bed and heading towards the door.
"Glad we had this chat." He coughs before slipping out of my room awkwardly.
Just then my phone beeped signalling I had a new text message
6 more days :) <3
I smiled at Lucas' count down to going back to our flat, but the smile quickly faltered as Louis' pouting lips flashed through my mind reminding me that we would have to spend our summer apart, the thought of leaving again after such a small reunion made me feel glum.
I sighed pushing the thought to the back of my mind and jumping out of bed.
After washing my face and brushing my teeth I decide to go downstairs and spend the remainder of my day with my mum and dad.
Louis' POV
it's been two days since Delilah basically told me she loves me and she has consumed every single one of my thoughts since. It's almost creepy how attached to her I am after such little amount of time we've spent together recently, I can't help it though she's just captivating in every way possible.
I almost call her, almost but decide against it considering I've stolen her for over half her visit so far and I should give her time to spend with her family.
I sigh climbing out of bed, it's then that I realize I had slept all day and it's currently one o'clock. I shrug my shoulders and shuffle out of my room and down the hall to see my mum making sandwiches for Daisy and Pheobe.
"Can you make me one too?" I ask smiling as I lift Daisy from her chair and sit in it resting her on my knee. She giggles loudly as I poke her sides.
"Of course Lou." My mum says smiling at Daisy before engaging in conversation with Pheobe.
"Orders up." My mum jokes sliding a plate with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on it in Daisy's direction, she smiles picking up half the sandwich and biting in to it.
"What do you want Louis?" Mum asks.
"I'll have the same as Daisy." I reply causing Daisy to smile. I wait for her to put down her sandwich before standing up with her in my arms and placing her back in her seat. Making my way around the counter towards mum.
"Louis sit down I can handle it." Mum says stoping me from picking up the jam jar. "Go sit down." I raise my hands in surrender before sitting down beside Pheobe and giving her scared look, she smiles before directing her attention back to her sandwich.
"So where are Lottie and Fizzy?" I ask as mum slides a sandwich in my direction.
"They went out to the mall."
"Oh." I simply reply before eating my sandwich silently, it's been a really long time since I've had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. People in high school don't exactly take people who bring PB and J for lunch seriously.
I'm surprised when I noticed that my mum, Daisy and Pheobe had managed to tear Delilah from my thoughts for a short period of time and soon return to my thoughts of her cute laugh and beautiful eyes
