I ran, my breath was heavy, my legs were aching, and my heart was beating a million miles an hour.  'warning! heart rate reaching unhealthy levels.' yelled the Calcipher, in my head. I fell to my knees, and the blood-coated gun skid from my hands. I vomited, and collapsed on the ground, gasping for the crisp night air that pierced my lungs. I sobbed. I was a nervous wreck, laying in the middle of the street, covered in blood, tears, and vomit. they surrounded me in seconds. "don't move!" shouted a cop. I was surrounded by police, who all had their guns trained on me, so I didn't put up any fight as two officers pulled me to my feet, and a third cuffed me. I felt the pinch as the  blue cylinder confining my hands clicked. "Lydia Carria, you are under arrest for the murder of Emperor Calimari." the officer spat at me. I  felt another tear run down my filthy cheek. I knew what my sentence would be. I would be banished. I would be shot out into the darkness of space, In a tiny little pod, and float around on the vast emptiness until I finally died, alone, and in guilty pain.

they didn't spare any time. I was cleaned, put in a black prisoner's suit, and then I boarded the tiny little pod, with barely enough room to wiggle my legs. that's it. no trial. I was caught in the act, and now I would have to face the consequences. I felt a vibration, and then a sudden lift, and I knew I was off, saying goodbye to the only home I ever knew.

after a while of floating through space, a loud 'thump' occurred, shaking the whole pod, and everything suddenly got really cold. I shivered, and figured we hit something which destroyed the temperature regulation unit. I only had so long before I froze. sure enough, just a few seconds later, I received an urgent message from my Calcipher. 'warning! temperature levels low!' I rolled my eyes at the Calcipher, and my last thought was, "duh!" before everything went black.
