Chapter 23: Sharp Pains

Stormie's Pov

"We just have to start looking!" I replied.

"Ok lets go!" Rydel said.

Ross' Pov

I have no clue where I am. I have been walking for 5 days. All I know is that I am not in L.A. or anywhere close. It was getting late so I sat down and leaned up against an old brick building. I started remembering everything from the past....When I first met Laura. Celebrating all our birthdays together. The day Austin & Ally ended. The song I wrote for her before she left for Italy. I snapped out of my thoughts when some girl said,

"Its Ross Lynch! Everybody run he might try and kill us!" Then she ran off. I just couldn't take it anymore! Everyone hated me! I just wanted to....die! I leaned my head back and let the tears fall as I slowly fell asleep.

*Hours Later*

Laura's Pov

We have been looking all night and still no sign of Ross. This was all my fault! I should have just forgave him and should have never dated Riker. A sharp pain in the arm Ross shot snapped me out of my thoughts. I started screaming because it hurt so bad.

"Laura whats wrong? Are you okay?" Stormie asked.

Now in tears clutching my arm I said,

"My arm! It hurts bad!"

"Ok lets get you to the hospital." Stormie replied.

(They all where in different cars. Riker, Ryland, and Rocky in one. Mark and Rydel in another. And Stormie and Laura in the last car.)

"No, I just want my mom and Vanessa! I just want to go home." I said.

"Laura honey. I know you want to go home, its not safe. And we will find Vanessa. But we have to take you to the hospital." Stormie replied.

"Ok." I said.

We drove for a while in silence.

"Why did Ross have to change?" I asked quietly looking at Stormie.

"I don't know sweetie. I don't know." She replied. "We're here. Come on lets get your arm looked at."

We both walked into the hospital.

Stormie's Pov

"Hi my.....daughter Laura got shot in the arm a couple weeks ago and is getting sharp pains threw the part of her arm where she got shot." I said.

When I said to the nurse at the counter that Laura was my daughter, Laura's head quickly turned towards me.

"Ok please come right this way." The nurse said leading us to a room. "The doctor will be in soon."

*A couple minutes later*

Laura's Pov

After waiting a couple minutes the doctor walked in.

"Hi, my name is Dr. Pepper! Ok so Laura, you are experiencing sharp pains in your arm where you goy shot?" He asked.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Ok well i'm going to half to take your bandage of so I can look at your arm. Ok?" He said.

"Ok." I replied again.

Dr. Pepper slowly and carefully took the bandage off, but when it was off he knew exactly what was wrong.

"Laura it looks like your muscle where very weak and tore right in half." He said concerned.

I just stared at Stormie with a worried look.

"How can we fix her arm?" Stormie asked.

"Well....there's only one way and thats surgery. But her muscle in that part of the arm will never be the same again" Dr. Pepper replied.
