Worth The Wait

I awoke the next morning tangled up with Stephen, and before you get any ideas we were both fully clothed thank you, after falling asleep in his arms. As I stirred he placed a kiss on my head. 

'Good morning you' He said tightening his arms around my waist and placing kisses on my collar bone. 

'Well that's one way to wake up' I said chuckling as I turned to face him and placed a quick kiss on his lips. 'Can we stay here today? I really don't want to face everybody saying I told you so today' I said mumbling against his chest. 

'I mean I wouldn't say no to spending the day in bed with you lass' Stephen said and I burst out laughing hitting him lightly on the chest. 

'But in all seriousness, just so you know, it may take  a while for me before I'm comfortable going all the way with you. It might not. Honestly I don't know just yet. We'll need to wait and see how it goes. But you've been warned' I said and he tightened his grip on me even more. 

'You're worth the wait. You're always going to be worth the wait. And I'm never going to let anything happen to you again.' He said kissing me softly even though it was full of passion. Yup. I was completely and utterly in love. Goddamn it. I heard my phone go off and I grabbed it from the nightstand and saw it was Fergal. Ah fuck. 'Who is it?' He  asked his head in my neck. 

'Fergal, he really knows how to time things' I growled slightly as I answered. 'Hey Fergal.' 

'Hey E, have you told him yet?' He asked. I'd put him on speaker phone. 'Oh Rami, I'm just speaking to E.' 

'Sup Rami, and yes I told him' I said sighing. 

'But did you tell him how you feel?' Rami asked his voice coming over the phone speaker. 

'She did indeed' Stephen piped up and I hit him. 

'OH MY GOD DID YOU TWO SLEEP TOGETHER ALREADY?' Fergal pretty much shouted down the phone. 

'Define sleep' I said smirking over at Stephen as he wrapped me up with him. Damn he was sweet. 

'Did you have sex?' Fergal pretty much whispered. 

'No' I said and I swore I could hear him scoff. 'Fergal after everything that has happened to me, do you really think I'd jump and have sex with him straight after agreeing to be with him?' 

'Oh yeah' He said quietly and I shook my head.  

'So you two are official?' Rami  asked. 

'We are indeed' Stephen said kissing my temple. 

'God you make me sick' I said pushing him away. 

'Yeah, word of advice when it comes to E, she doesn't do romance. Don't be all cutesy. She hates it' Fergal said and I nodded agreeing with him. 

'Really?' Stephen asked surprised. 

'Yup, can't stand it' I said  shuddering at the thought. 

'Well you just keep getting more amazing' He said and I heard Rami and Fergal pretend to throw up down the phone so I joined  them.

'BYE GUYS' I shouted down the phone at them before hanging up quickly. 

'How long until they tell everybody else?' Stephen asked. 

'I'll get texts coming in soon enough.' I said throwing my phone  to the other side of the bed and burying my face into his chest. And damn he smelt good. 

'So are we going in today, or are we going to stay here?' Stephen asked. 

'Let's just stay here, seriously, let's just spend the day in bed' I said and he sighed contently. 

'Sounds good to me' He said picking up the remote for the TV that hung on the wall and switched it on. 'So what do you want to watch?' He asked looking at me. 

'Don't care' I said tracing shapes on his chest.  

'Superhero marathon?' He asked  and I nodded not paying much attention until Captain America started playing and my attention was captured. I was still draped over his chest but my eyes were glued to the superhero action. It was my happy place.  And only Stephen knew how much I loved superheros. The day passed amazingly. We ordered in pizza, watched a tonne more superhero movies and spent the entire time like we normally would. Except we were kissing this time. That's the only thing that had changed was the kissing and I couldn't be happier about it. 'Do you know what's great?' Stephen asked. 

'Besides me?' I replied smirking at him and he chuckled shaking his head and putting his arm around my waist bringing me into him. 

'Well obviously' He said. 'It's great that nothing between us has changed. Like it was meant to be' He said and I looked up and shook my head. 

'Oh god don't  tell me you're going to be all namby pamby' I groaned and he chuckled and pulled me into him kissing me passionately. 

'You are the perfect woman' He mumbled into my lips. 

'I know' I said kissing him back. And as quickly as it started it became more heated very fast. Until we were interrupted by a loud knock on the door and I groaned pulling away. 

'Under the circumstances is it acceptable to kill somebody?' Stephen growled. 

'Sadly no or I'd have done it already' I said and he smirked down at me and kissed me again. And the knock at the door got louder and I groaned and moved off of Stephen's lap so he could answer the door. 

'Cesaro now is not a good time' Stephen said as the door swung open. 

'I thought you and Jade would want to hang and drink some beers?' He said giving Stephen a 6 pack of beer.

'Look at you getting all down with the American culture. I'm proud' I said clutching my heart over dramatically. 

'Why do I even like you?' He asked me and I chuckled. 

'I ask myself the same question everyday. Why does anybody tolerate my presence?' I said and Stephen answered by wrapping both his arms around my waist from behind me and kissing my neck. 

'You two finally got together?' Cesaro asked and Stephen didn't answer still kissing my neck. I sighed and chuckled. 

'Yeah if you couldn't  tell' I said and Cesaro chuckled. 

'Oh I can tell, I'll leave you two to it, see you later' He said seeing himself out. 

'I thought he would never leave' He said in between kissing me making his way back up to my face. He spun me around and planted his lips on mine and I sighed in content.
