Antonio's P.O.V
"He should be here. Where is he?" Jamie was pacing back and forth in front of this 1950s themed diner.
Jenny's was the name of this place. The place that Alex had said to meet him.
Why here?
The day we had planned to go get Alex I had received a letter in the mail from him. Saying he snuck out and wanted to wait a few days before we met up on account for mine and his safety.
Why he feels the need to protect me I have no idea.
"He's your boyfriend or whatever how come you're not pacing? Do just not give a fuck or what?" Jamie was now getting agitated.
I swiftly walked over to him and slammed my fist into his ribs. Not hard enough to break anything but just hard enough to let him know his words weren't okay. "Accuse me of not caring about the one thing that's keeping me living right now and I'll do more than a small love tap Jamie."
Grabbing his hair I placed his head on my leg right next to my package. "You might not like it either."
He nodded his head mumbling his apology.
I would never force anyone to do anything with me. With Jamie it's a scare tactic. My brother does it and I know how much Jamie hates it. Makes him feel unsafe.
We stood in front of this diner for another forty five minutes waiting impatiently until a matte black escalade pulled in front of us.
"Antonio Costa?"
The window wasn't even rolled all the way down. "This is for you. A little gift from Alex. He says to find him. He wants to play a game." A sinister laugh plays out the car from the men inside. He holds a small envelope out the crack in the window which I take and watch him drive off.
What the fuck is going on?
"Open it up." Jamie said.
Something isn't right. I opened the envelope to find a small piece of paper with writing on it.
Where we met, some things were said but that's where you will find your next clue ahead.
Where we met? What in the bloody world?
"Well where did you meet?" Jamie asked.
My heart was starting to race. Why would Alex have me go on a riddle mission to find him? "We met at my building. He started his first day as my intern."
Jamie slapped my shoulder and headed to the car as fast as lightning.
I followed behind him jumping in the drivers seat going straight to the building. I looked over to Jamie just pondering one thing.
"Jamie aren't you suppose to be with my brother?" I asked him.
His body went tense and he sat up. "He let me come and look with you. Told me I was free for a while."
"Okay then." Leaving it alone. My mind was far to worried about Alex to sit and worry about Jamie and Lorenzo's problems.
Soon we were at the building. My legs are moving to fast for my mind to catch up and really see where I'm going.
I headed to my office saying small greetings to my employees as I walked past them. I haven't been here in a while. They're use to it besides they wouldn't dare question me anyways.
Jamie hot on my trail walked into my office looking for any clue to tell us where Alex was.
"I don't think this is a game started by Alex." he said.
I knew he was right but saying it out loud makes it true and this is something that just can't be true.
Just as we were about to stop looking around my computer monitor turned on and there was the one face I loathed more than anything.
"Antonio. Buddy how are you?" his very voice makes me want to slit my eyes.
Blood boiling. Vision changing from normal to red. Fist clenched. The predator is now stalking his prey.
"Where is he?" he chuckled slightly holding his composure. "I would tell you but you'll here him in 3....2...." the monitor turned off.
Just as quick a woman screamed outside my office door. Jamie ran to the door opening it quickly screaming as well.
"Antonio it's Alex!" Jumping up from my seat at the sound of his name. Horrified screams filled the building floor. The sight of Alex was horrifying.
I could barely tell it was him. Blood covered his body. Dried and fresh cakes of him from head to toe. I knelt down grabbing his wrist feeling for a pulse.
Heart dropping. No pulse.
Placing my head on his chest. Tears threatened to come out. I can't hear a beat.
"Tony?" Jamie's already let his tears go. Heartbroken for the end of his friends life.
Cheeks stained with salty wet tears shaking in answer to Jamie.
"He's gone. All because of me." Jamie placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Antonio it's not your fault. Marcos is an asshole who wants you to suffer. He's to blame."
I looked to Jamie. His tears had stopped and an a small smile placed on his lips trying to comfort me.
I placed my arms under Alex and picked him up bridal style. "You're right Jamie. It's Marcos' fault and I'm gonna kill him slowly and painfully."
(A/N: I know it's short but I wanted to give you guys something. I changed the name of the book and the description. I will be posting a book 100% on Alex and Antonio but I just wanted to focus on Antonio for right now. Hope you guys enjoy!!! Remember to comment vote and follow. I love you guys!!)
