This time, it was her father again. The threats, the names, the hatred. It struck her heart like a wrecking ball. Her mascara ran down her eyelashes, down her cheeks; and mixed with the salt of sadness, burning in her eyes. The man that had made her feel like a princess, tore her happy heart apart once again. Her curls draped down her face and onto her shoulders like ribbons dancing in the rain. Her skin bled again like the crimson sleeves of her favorite sweater. The thoughts of seeing those golden gates of heaven hit her again. Every time she'd think of happiness, the deadly thoughts welcomed themselves into her mind. What destruction she was inside that pretty little head. The next day she'd wake up to the same depression. One she should be used to by now. Maybe one day they'll understand. That feeling like nothing of her mattered, it destroyed her...Inside, then out.
