Skylynn Gets You Guys Together

You and Nash had been best friends for years. Ever since he moved next door and broke your bedroom window with a baseball and fixed the glass with hot glue you knew that you and him would be very good friends. But just because you two were very good friends didn't mean that you didn't find him attractive. Nash was very attractive and had a great personality, it was hard not to have feelings for him.

You had grown up with him but had never been around his house much, he would usually just come over to yours. You knew his family well and hung out with Hayes quite often, but that was about it.

One day, you were over at his house just hanging out. You had spent hours playing video games and watching TV before you ended up cuddled on his couch, laughing at the movie on the screen. Skylynn had walked up to you and climbed between you and Nash. You made room for her before you started talking. "Hi Skylynn, its been a while since I've seen you. You're so big now aren't you?", you said. She smiled at you and whispered a quiet, "yeah". She watched the movie for a couple of minutes before turning to Nash. "Nash, can you leave your girlfriend and put me to bed?", she asked, tiredly rubbing her eyes. You pretended not to notice the use of the word 'girlfriend'.

After Nash finished putting her to sleep he came back and sat down on the couch, a little more space between you two than before. The silence was killing you. "Look, Nash, it was just a misunderst-", you couldn't even finish before he started. "No, it's my fault. I just talk about you a lot and I guess she thought that you were my girlfriend or something", he said, trailing off. "You talk about me?", you asked, your tone a little confused but with a hint of hopefulness. "Well, I mean yeah, of course I talk about you. I really like you Y/N and I guess it just took a little push for me to admit it", he said. You smiled at those words and said, "I like you too Nash, but if she thinks that we're boyfriend and girlfriend we'll need to go on a date.""Y/N, would you like to go out with me?", he asked. "I would absolutely love to go out with you!", you replied. "Oh! I think we'll need to thanks Skylynn for setting this up", you said with a joking smile.
