Chapter 6 ~ An Unusual Sunday

(It's Friday for me...also, this is like..a 8 month time skip, so....and, no, there isn't a description for the agency. It's secret)

Aphmau's POV

I tackle Aaron to the floor, my strength finally enough to pin him down.

"Darn it! Why did I teach you karate!?" (KAY-RAT-TAAAAAY!!!) He purrs, laughing.

"Cuz you love me~" I chuckle, sitting on top of him.

"No! I-I don't!" He tints his cheeks with red, and laughs more.

We play with each other until we finally reach his bed and collapse on it from fatigue.

"Aph, I haven't told you...and I've wanted to for...a while." He wags his tail, it beating against the bed.

"Yeah?" I look at him, my eyes glittering with intrest.

"Aph, I do love you." He says gently, holding back a blush.

"Daw~ I love you too!" I giggle.

"No...I love you." He stares down, away from my eyes.

"W-what?" I blush, staring at him.

"Aph, I've loved you since highschool," He finally looks at me. "I've loved you from then 'til now. Aph, that will never change...and I want you to live me back..." He sighs.

"A-Aaron...you know I felt the same back then...and I feel the same now. Aaron, I-I love you too..." I blush, knowing my brain will talk.

Hello?!

Aaron gets off the bed and lifts me up with him. He brings a box out of his pocket, making me gasp.

"Aphmau, would you make me the happiest man in the world," He looks at me. "By guessing what's in here." He snickers.

"Ha. Ha. Very funny. Is it a puppy?" I giggle.

"Uh, forgot you think a dog could fit in this?" He laughs.

"I dunno! That was just a funny guess! Is...is it a ring?" I stammer.

"Maybe..." He hold up the box, opening it.

I gasp, seeing a ring. A note lays on top of it. Without him asking, I grab the note and read it.

Aphmau,

You will always be a special person in my heart. No matter who comes in and out of my life, you will be one that never escapes my heart.

I've known you for nearly over 12 years now, and I want to make our lives take it up a level.

This ring is a ring of friendship. One gem will be our friendship we'll share forever, and the other gem...it's our love.
