Anastasia's POV
"Ana are you even listening to me?" I hear an annoyed voice, that belonged to one of my best friends, Lucy. So I quickly snap my head up from my book that I was reading, so I'm looking at her.
"Yeah of course" I say trying to play it off and she sighs.
"Really? Then what was I just talking about?" she asks arching her eyebrow and I sigh.
"Yeah you got me" I sigh leaning back in my chair and she smiled.
"I thought so" she said with a proud look on her face and I rolled my eyes playfully. "Come on let's go do something" she whines.
"Like what?" I asked raising my eyebrows.
"Anything but sitting here in the library doing nothing" she says and I sigh.
"Fine" I say sighing. So we get our stuff and leave. It was currently lunch and so we thought to go to the lunch room, because that's where everyone would be. I'm not the type of person that like the big crowd of people, but Lucy was so I just like to tag along. We were currently talking to a group of our friends, laughing and talking, until I felt someone put their hands over my eyes.
"Guess whooo?" said a guy voice in a sing song type of way, and I smiled automatically knowing who it was.
"Hmmm, Sam?" I ask and he moves his hands away with a groan and glares at me. I laugh softly and turn around to face my best friend Jack Johnson. Me and Jack have been best friends since Kindergarten, and he's just always been there for me. I'm also really close to Jack Gilinsky, I've known him since 6th grade and we're now in Junior year of high school.
"Wow I see how it is" he says and sad tone, which makes me laugh harder.
"Relax, I was kidding" I say and he smiles.
"Yeah, yeah I know" he says shaking his head.

It was currently the end of the day and so Lucy, Jack and I were all walking out of school.
"So what are the plans for tonight?" Jack asks and I furrow my eyebrows.
"What do you mean?" I ask cluelessly.
"Ana it's a Friday night, we need to go out and do something" he explains to me and I look down at my feet unsure.
"I don't know..." I say trailing off and I hear Lucy sigh.
"Ana, Jack's right, we're 16, we need to just live a little" she says trying to convince me and I sigh finally giving up.
"Fine..but what are we gonna do?" I ask unsure still.
"Well, I heard there's a big party tonight" he said with an excited tone and Lucy nods.
"Who's is it?" Lucy asks.
"Sam and Nate's" he says and Lucy nods once again.
"Sound great" she says and I nod in agreement, not saying anything. Going to parties are really out of my comfort zone. I've probably only been to around a handful of parties in y whole high school career. But I knew deep down inside that they were right, I just needed to live a little.

It was currently 4:30pm and Jack was picking me up at 7pm to go to this party, and I still have no idea what I'm gonna wear or anything. So I decided to text to one person that know fashion more that anyone, Lucy.
(A= Anastasia L= Lucy)
A: Luc, I need your help, it's an emergency
L: What kind of emergency?
A: And fashion one
L: On my way
I sighed plopping down on my bed waiting for Lucy. Then about 5 minutes later she showed up with a bag of clothes.
"So I have three outfits for you to choose from" she say throwing the bag on my bed and taking out the clothes and laying them on my bed. After a few minutes of looking at the clothes finally I decided with one outfit and went to the bathroom and changed (Outfit Below).

I walk out and Lucy smiles.
"Casual, perfect for a house party" she says with a happy tone in her voice and I smile.
"Now sit down so I can do your hair and makeup" she says, so I listen and sit down and she curls my hair and puts on some light makeup. By the time me and Lucy were both done getting ready it was about 6:30pm.
"So you know Gilinsky is probably gonna be there huh" I smirk at here and she smiles.
"So?" she says trying to hide her blush and I laughed. Lucy has always had a big crush on G, but she's never told him that. So for the rest of the time that we were waiting we just talked and laughed about random things. Then we get a text from Jack saying that he was outside, so me and Lucy go downstairs and out the door. When we start to approach the car we see, Jack in the driver's seat, and Gilinsky in the passenger's seat.
So me and Lucy got in the back and we were on our way to the party. We were ready to just have fun and have a stress free night.
I don't think we've ever been more wrong about something in our whole lives...
