Phil's Pov

I smiled lightly as I sat in class, time stopped around me. I looked at the answer key, filling in my test. I knew it was wrong, but I never studied and can literally stop time whenever I want. It'd be a shame to waste the power. I smirked as I stood up, changing the class bully's answers to all wrong, as I returned the answer key and sat back down. Making time start again, I looked around at everyone, waiting for the bell to ring before grabbing my things and turning in my test.

I walked into my next class and smiled happily while taking my seat. The last period of the day was the easiest, and I was grateful when the bell rang to let us go home. I walked out to my car and drove home. I went to my room and laid in bed, stopping time to read a book in peace. I smiled happily and yawned as I finished it, lying back and falling asleep.

A few hours later I woke up refreshed and started the time back. I went downstairs to see my mother had begun cooking dinner.

"This looks great, Mum!"

My mother nodded at me as she focused on cooking. I went and sat on the sofa, texting my friend and checking my social media.

"Philip! The food is ready!" My mum yelled.

I jumped up and got some of the delicious spaghetti she had made. While sitting at the table, I noticed my dad and brother weren't home yet. My mum smiled at me, and we started eating our food. After finishing the spaghetti, I got up and washed my plate. A nice, hot shower was calling my name, so I went upstairs to the bathroom. I took my relaxing shower and then climbed into bed. I lounged a bit before stopping time and going to sleep, knowing it would let me rest as much as I wanted without being late anywhere.
